D_acolyte Posted January 28, 2014 Report Share Posted January 28, 2014 I have a Tara crew, getting a Misaki crew, and wanted a decent in-between minion model they can both take. What I have for Tara is her box and one death martial (Ms. Terious). I am currently in-between these three options: Friekcorps (good generalist with armor), Ronin (a great hitting model) and the Guilty (hard to kill is great and they can spread tormented granting some minor perks and issues for there foe). Myth Posted January 28, 2014 Report Share Posted January 28, 2014 A Freikorpsman is a pretty good deal for the price. They can burn cards which seems to work well with Tara, and their Armor protects them from Blasts which means they can hang out in melee while Misaki is using Thunder. Kadeton Posted January 29, 2014 Report Share Posted January 29, 2014 I'd go with the suggestion of Johan, if you're just looking for a single model. Johan has easy access to one of the rarest and most game-changing abilities (Condition removal) and is an otherwise fairly cheap and solid hitter. For Tara at least, my biggest gaps are firepower and, to a lesser degree, hitting power. So, Friekorps is probably a good call. Alternatively, one of the biggest draws to taking Tara as Resser for me are Belles helping with positioning- while Oiran aren't nearly as good at that, they might still be a good choice as an alternative available to Outcasts that also go with Misaki. Not bad speed, Hard to Kill, nice Swords, reasonably priced and they can commit Seppuku to give you back 2SS or cards mid match. Otherwise, I love using Freikorpsmann. Both are such solid objective grabbers they can't be overlooked. Sure the void wretch's require a little more effort on getting major latitude out of their abilities, but both offer such a dynamic set of abilities you can't argue that as minions they don't kick butt. MasterDisaster Posted January 30, 2014 Report Share Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) Ronin, Convict Gunslingers, Hans, Bishop, Killjoy, Sure, Lazarus, Taelor, Friekorp Strongarm Suit, Freikorps Specialists... Outcasts have too many epic models.. Granted most of these aren't Minions but they will all contribute nicely to Tara and Misaki's crews.
