96p
I used one of these with a missterious torso instead of the head and without the shoulderpads
Grim
96P, can you share a photo? I have to show the TO first before proceeding with a conversion. I can't put too much effort before sho w ing as the TO is very strict about proxies almost to the point of taking the fun out of gaming
Jackanory
Wow, your TO sounds awful!
RagingRodian
That one is nice indeed Masterdisaster, thanks, but at £25.00 ($37.50) a little too much for a proxy specially when the official Hannah is released, this TO will likely not allow it anymore. It is a great model, and one of the perks of playing with your friends is you can use any model you want...
Grim
It is a great model, and one of the perks of playing with your friends is you can use any model you want... oh I agree, the local henchman is very understanding when it comes to proxies of unreleased models, for him, as long as it is on the same sized base and you say what it is beforehand, he is ok with it; the local players are just as understanding. This is another T.O./henchman from another store hosting a tournament I want to participate in, but the lack of a Hannah that meets the T.O.'s standards is preventing me from doing so. quiche
Grim: If you are good at scratchbuilding or have a mate who is, Insaniak made these exo suits a few years ago which might provide some inspiration: http://www.wargamerau.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t71648.html
Red_Starrise
As I didn't back the Kickstarter so for me this figure may never exist. However, I do love the Freikorps so I decided for completeness sake to build a proxy of Hannah. I used Barker Zosa in the Aphid Frame, got him for dirt cheap on bartertown. A big of GS work & some parts swaps/additions later, behold Hans is born: I'm just in need of a steamtrunk proxy & we're good to go with a complete Freikorps. SpiralngCadavr
very nice conversion- suprised at how little modifications you made to match him to the FK look.
Red_Starrise
very nice conversion- suprised at how little modifications you made to match him to the FK look. Thanks. Since Barker is strapped in to begin with & isn't seemingly wearing a shirt, & has no hair it's pretty minimal amount of work, namely the heagear & the shoulder pads, plus the O2 cylinder on his chest which I have all of my Freikorps wearing masks with hoses that connect to these for the more WWI/VSF look. Grim
hey RED_STARRISE: Thanks for sharing!!! That is very inspiring work. Is Barker Zosa's body and arms attached to the EXO suit on the actual miniature? or is it separate from the suit and I can maybe relplace Barker with a female mini?? thanks! Seb3110
I'm just in need of a steamtrunk proxy & we're good to go with a complete Freikorps. May i recommend this: http://www.kinggames.dk/shop/orc-operator-with-1580p.html I have used that one for my crew.
Red_Starrise
Here's a pic of the parts. Arms are not separate.
Asyouwish78
I am the TO. This is my first Wyrd tournament and I'm following gaining ground rules I'm not that awful. I'm just trying to get familiar with the rules as they are before I start trying other things. I'm sure that people can understand that. Vargas79
Don't worry about his comment. He's a part of my gaming group and a proxy obsessive...
Red_Starrise
Well as a TO for various systems over the years I've always felt that as long as the opponent can clearly tell what the model represents then it's ok.
Bengt
How tall is the kickstarter Hannah miniature?
