  1. My order has been stuck in London for the past week and a half. Has anyone else experienced this?
  2. Releases look odd with only one master set for release this summer. I can't imagine it's strategy so I wonder if they've lost control of their supply chain.
  3. I find it incredibly hard to believe that she was designed purposefully to be ineffective in order to match the fluff. I'd love to know what Justin thought he was delivering that justified her 5ss cost. She's been a waste every time for me. I like the model.
  4. And my item was received from Crooked Grin today in excellent condition. HIghly recommended trader & nice guy.
  5. The link doesn't seem to be working. Looking forward to reading it though - your Tara related posts have been an excellent read.
  6. Yeah I've loved playing her so far - admittedly I'm only 3-4 games in. I have nothing good to say about Karina though. I can't believe she received a great deal of testing.
  7. Bristol, UK. Everything is fine. I can send pics if you like. In fact I'll simply PM you them.
  8. You can add James Ling (Vargas79) and Adam Perry (Kogan Style) to that list.
  9. I have the pandora 'no shelter' set assembled but not primed that I'd be interested to trade?
  10. Surely Illuminated benefit from addict too?
  11. I'll never forget the time a teddy tossed my flesh construct 10" ...probably not the intention of this thread but it thoroughly amused me.
  12. Don't worry about his comment. He's a part of my gaming group and a proxy obsessive...
  13. Hi all, I suspect I know the answer to this but the situation very nearly came up in a Tara v Lucas game yesterday. Mounted mcabe was fast and buried. My 3 void wretches gave him a good kicking whilst in the void but he just survived - now the question is what would have happened to the summoned mcabe should mounted mcabe die when buried? Does he come in as buried or does he simply die outright?
  14. Excellent post - and worthy I more than just a "thanks". Nails my feelings perfectly.
  15. By god, he deserves it. Truly.
  16. Mr Tannen is worth his weight in soulstones against melee crews where you can protect him behind friendly models blocking the opportunity for him to be engaged. Opponents will put effort into taking him down so it's fun to dangle him and watch opponents high SS models pump their AP's into taking him down. I don't think I've ever seen him survive a game but he's always been a worthwhile pick. He is far less effective against ranged crews where it is a struggle to get him into postion for his aura to be effective.
  17. I'd now like to post a positive trade review for Longstrider. Polite, courteous commuincation & excellent packaging. Highly recommend.
  18. This! Dark Debts and the Rail Crew were my first two crews when getting back into M2E. Both crews have their virtues but I personally much prefer the Dark Debt theme. I also love the card tricks and routinely take the "Expert Cheater" upgrade to add some gameplay theme to the gambling aesthetic even though its not considered "optimal".
  19. Hi, unfortunately I was on the receiving end of never receiving my goods that I agreed as a part of a swap with Stonedog-7. He has not been online since and has not repsonded to any of my messages. We agreed the swap back in early December.
  20. I highly recommend Element Games - I've been using them since September and their prices are amongst the best, whilst their customer service is by far the best of the sites I've used.
  21. In all honesty I've never taken it - I'll give it a whirl on my next game as an attachment to Huggy. I don't power game (I'm not accusing you of this btw) as I want to play games which are fun for both me and my opponent. I particularly like Expert Cheater as it adds a new bluffing dimension to the game - whilst I appreciate it might not be the most potent upgrade he has, it is always my first pick. Holy crapola - I've not been playing it where it effects my models. I have a few apologies to make... ---------- Post added at 10:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:11 PM ---------- +1 to this. Lynch has been a very rewarding master to play to date. Competitive and, most importantly, fun.
  22. I'm not a big fan of addict - if an opponent already has brilliance then the illuminated and hungering darkness already have enough buffs against them. I never leave home without expert cheater though - it's one of Lynch's thematic upgrades that makes him great fun to play with and against. It also gives you squeal which is very useful for keeping Jacob alive. I'm also a fan of Mr Tannen - primarily because of his cooler aura. He's probably better saved for larger games where I'd also recommend taking a 2nd beckoner - the more I've played Lynch the more invaluable they've felt. Rising Sun and Endless Hunger are equally good. I like to mix them up to keep my opponent on their toes. But if I'm playing someone he I know has the ability to put Huggy down quickly, then I'll go for Rising Sun - Endless Hunger makes him feel like you're playing with two masters...it's very potent. Plus Endless hunger makes him 'terrifying all' which can be a great way of dealing with swarms of pesky constructs. Last point - I've taken to putting fears given form on Huggy. That combined with terrifying makes him chew through opponents hands. Get Mr Tannen's aura into range and you create a huge problem for your opponent.
  23. Hi all I have the Mei Feng set assembled and primed - all in excellent condition. She was a gift and whilst I love the models, the play-style doesn't really suit me. Therefore I'm looking to sell or make a trade. I'm interested in other Malifaux plastics, especially Neverborn.
