gashlycrumb
Hello, As a new player I bought two starter sets (Rasputina and Von Schill) in July, before realizing that Malifaux was undergoing Edition 2.0 changes. I'm really excited about playing Malifaux, and have been eagerly awaiting the ME2 release, but have some questions: 1) Will I be able to play ME2 with the older models (the 1.5 edition models)? 2) What do I need to buy to be able to play ME2? I currently own only the Rasputina and Von Schill 1.5 starter set boxes. Thanks ever so much in advance!
Joel
1) yes, but will need the new cards or the rulebook that contains them. 2) the new rulebook, just released at gencon, and probably the arsenal decks for arcarnists and outcasts. Shadowopal
Joel is of course correct. The arsenal decks are nice to have. You will want arcanist for Raspy and outcast for VonSchill. You will also want to pick up the totems for both masters at some point because they are handy in a fight. But not necessary. Really all you NEED is the M2e rulebook. Math Mathonwy
You will also want to pick up the totems for both masters at some point because they are handy in a fight. Since totems now come in the plastic starter boxes (and most likely won't be released outside of them) you should probably get a metal version of Raspy's totem somewhat fast as the metal versions will be discontinued.
