Viruk
I see you've found some nice replacements for DM I also prefer to see them looking more undead but I do like the look of your crew so far, keep up the great work!
FoeRender
These look awesome , also I like the red bases first time I seen them used .
Angels_blade
Thank you again, I don't know why I wanted an all female Death Marshal crew but It just seemed right. The dude on the coffin is a stand in until I can ebay myself a Miss Terious (unfortunately I got into Malifaux after Gen-con!) Painting a guardian tonight as I've just got some Alcohol Gold!!! Beaker
Well your models look very well painted, first thing. Have to be honest though - this thread officially seals it for me that I will not ever be using the new transparent bases to hold models. Tokens and counters maybe (and that's a big maybe) but otherwise not s fan. Like I said though - your actual painted models look really fantastic! ttsgosadow
Looks nice! The metal has a nice shine to it. Good luck finishing all those pieces in one week
Viruk
Vry nice work on the Guardian, his armor looks great. I'm not a fan of these new transparent bases though...
Angels_blade
Well thank you again. Had a great game with my LJ crew last night against Misaki and the ten thunders. Guardian and Austringer were fantastic leading to a 6-0 win and the complete destruction of Misaki and her crew for the loss of a single Death Marshal. It was my first game using a totem which worked very well also (as did drawing the Red Joker in my hand twice!). Anyway, not as productive as planned this weekend. I finished my Judge and my Austringer (minus base) although I'm waiting on an order of 30mm Ghost town inserts so I can finish the scales of justice, Nino and Perdita. On a side note my LGS Worthy Gaming in Preston got stock of some resin base inserts from a brand new company called DCB Miniatures http://dcbminiatures.co.uk/ so I picked up a pack for my Arcanists. For starters they are stupidly cheap and very nice to boot. At the moment they only have the streets inserts but I was chatting to the guys who have set it up (really nice blokes btw) and they will have Ghost town, Arid lands, Laboratory and Bamboo decking available soon. Cheers guys AB C&C Welcome as always!

Viruk
Very nice paintjobs all around, each new mini you paint up is looking better and better!
Angels_blade
Well that sir is the best comment so far thank you. I hope to have some new additions tommorrow night
AllDeadDave
Great paint jobs all around. The metallic of the Guardian is especially awesome, and rarer to see than the non metallic variety.
Angels_blade
Big update today with 5 new additions to my ever growing Guild crew... I haven't actually bought the Hoffman box but I wish I had after buying the three constructs from his damn set! Still loads to do but roll on the GT! C&C welcome Cheers AB

Wings
Your metals are really gorgeous. What do you use for them? I've never managed to have anything come out so well. Apologies if that's already been asked in this thread but my internet is a bit slow and that makes going through all your pages of prettiness too much effort... Angels_blade
No probs, it's really simple it's Vallejo rich gold which is alcohol based and only needs one coat! Then I washed the recesses with carroburg crimson, then wash the whole model with agrax earth shade highlight with rune fang steel and Roberts your fathers brother! Viruk
You've really picked the painting pace! Great work on the metallics and very nice bases, I particularly like the one you used for Watcher. I haven't seen any decent pics of alt Executioner before this one. I like the painting but the mini just doesn't do it for me. The sculpt is more dynamic but it doesn't look as bulky and imposing as the older version. Argentbadger
Great painting. The alt executioner seems to have a slightly more 'cartoony' style than the others - is that due to the miniature?
Angels_blade
Yeah, the mini isn't great but it was the only one my lgs had. I'm hoping my Ronin and Miss Terious arrives tommorrow cos I'm eager to paint more attractive minis! I've built a warden today. Would it help if I did some stage by stage shots? Pride365
Stage by Stage would be really cool to see!
Wings
Thanks for the painting recipe. I'll definitely try that out. I look forward to seeing what you get up to next!
Angels_blade
Ok I've been very busy at work but I have now only got 7 more minis to do in time for the GT. They are all built and primed and I have put them in a painting order to do next week. 1. Monday = 2 x Ronin 2. Tuesday = Miss Terious 3. Wednesday = Scales of justice and Warden 4. Thursday = Santiago and Nino Ortega 5. Friday = Rest! In the mean time I took a couple of pictures of my completed crew on our gaming clubs new Malifaux board and I wanted to share cos I really like them!! Hopefully you can get the gist of what I'm going for here with basing and colour palette. I may not be very good at playing Malifaux but I'd be really chuffed if I can get some kind of mention for painting at the GT! Cheers AB
