Just a quick one... A few people were asking about my base inserts. They're from a company called DCB Miniatures http://dcbminiatures.co.uk/ Very cheap and work well with Wyrd's coloured bases

Fair point but my Mavericks are paired giving me a which I believe cancels out his diminutive size. Also I'm very ruthless so don't try to pull any of that harmless stuff on me!

Looking great so far. One tip I'd share is that washes are your friend. An Agrax earthshade wash over the wooden coffins would really pop as would a thined down nuln oil over the clothing.

Ok I've been very busy at work but I have now only got 7 more minis to do in time for the GT. They are all built and primed and I have put them in a painting order to do next week. 1. Monday = 2 x Ronin 2. Tuesday = Miss Terious 3. Wednesday = Scales of justice and Warden 4. Thursday = Santiago and Nino Ortega 5. Friday = Rest! In the mean time I took a couple of pictures of my completed crew on our gaming clubs new Malifaux board and I wanted to share cos I really like them!! Hopefully you can get the gist of what I'm going for here with basing and colour palette. I may not be very good at playing Malifaux but I'd be really chuffed if I can get some kind of mention for painting at the GT! Cheers AB

Yeah, the mini isn't great but it was the only one my lgs had. I'm hoping my Ronin and Miss Terious arrives tommorrow cos I'm eager to paint more attractive minis! I've built a warden today. Would it help if I did some stage by stage shots?

No probs, it's really simple it's Vallejo rich gold which is alcohol based and only needs one coat! Then I washed the recesses with carroburg crimson, then wash the whole model with agrax earth shade highlight with rune fang steel and Roberts your fathers brother!

It was because I'm planning on running a couple of Ronin in my LJ crew and one in my Kaeris crew and was just wondering if sepachu is worth pulling off if I haven't spent any soul stones yet. I can relate to this and in any other gaming system I would agree but I find for someone like myself who is new to Malifaux and is not completely aware of the full miniatures range I find the clear bases something really useful for spotting my crew!

He did it in less than a day Ozz! I was there, the guy is a machine!
