Mounted Combat Clarification

Saracenar

Question

Hello all, recently I helped a friend figure something out with the Hooded Rider's Mounted Combat ability, but now I am not so sure about the ruling I made.

The rule says that the Rider is pushed equal to his charge, and may interrupt that charge to make one strike, then continue the push.

Does this mean he can only make one strike throughout the duration of the push, or can he stop multiple times to make one strike each?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, and the answer.

I worry that if I go back and try to explain it to my friend now he might not be that believing. Is there a way to explain it that will be absolutely clear? I don't think going back and saying, "sorry, it is only just one strike" will go down too well.

Thanks again.

It's all right there in the ability description, honestly.

"This model may interrupt the push to make 1 Saber Strike"

That's one Saber strike, no more. If your friend somehow argues with that, ask him to count the strikes he makes during the push, and stop when he gets to one.
