Zoraida and 2 Special Forces

This debate has come up a few times in other threads, but I don't believe it has been its own topic.

Under the rules for hiring models, it says, "The following restrictions apply when hiring Crews." (p71) and then later on says only one special forces may be selected and only two models of that special force may be hired unless a henchman of that special force is hired.

It says nothing about being able to summon Special Forces. Zoraida is able to summon Wicked Dolls. So the question is if Zoraida hires let's say Rami (Sp Kin), can she summon Wicked Dolls once the game starts?

The rule of one special force is unclear when talking about summoning as the rules seem to fall under hiring only; where as, something like Rare clearly stats how many of that model you can have in play at any given time.

It's still and open question whether you can summon in a different Special Force, such as starting with Von Schill and the summoning a Rogue Necromancy... right?

How is it still open. Ruling only applies to hiring. You can clearly summon on a second spf. Also you can exceed spf model limit of two, that only applies to hiring. You only have to adhere to unique rare, and other such characteristics.

There are two rules pertaining to special forces: You can only have models from a single Special Force, and unless your crew is led by a henchman you can only have a max of two Special Forces models.

What he said rather directly addressed that second issue, but honestly didn't say anything about the first. That's why I asked, and why he clarified, and everyone's happy now.

If you have 2 Crooligans in a force lead by McMourning, and no Molly, can you summon Rogue necromancy, exceeding the max number of spec forces minions hired without a leader. There are no other spec forces in the equation.

Yes that ruling meant it applies to hiring restrictions only. Once you are deployed that rule goes out the door.
