  1. Sorry to hear that, but I understand the weather issue. I did not get a chance to make terrain as there was a spontaneous visit from out of town family that took up most of my free time for building.
  2. I look forward to seeing you Sunday. I am going to attempt to create some winter terrain and as long as it comes out decent I will give it away. If it looks like crap, I don't want my name associated with it. LOL

  8. Yes, this was not directed towards you, but a friendly reference for everyone. The interactions between Pandora and Nicodem highlight some of nuances new and old players could use reminding of now and then.
  9. I agree with everyone else he takes the wound from Emotional Trauma. But keep in mind if he takes a wound and Pandora triggers Mental Anguish, Nico would fall back as Metal Anguish says "After defender loses a Wp Resist Duel it immediately falls back and it counts as losing a Morale Duel." He's lost the duel, just canceled the hit. And just for your own knowledge: Do to some of the changes in models and rules the type of attack referenced on the card impacts the way some Talents work. 12. I watched a player in Shared Supply Wagon whack his opponent's wagon once and then whack his own cart to death. Thus denying his opponent VP for the strategy. I never saw an opponent laugh so hard and talk about how epicly awesome it was.
  13. The player base is growing steadily. And plenty of terraclips to play with.
  14. I believe it's A. Kill Protege is sometimes a very bad option to take as your opponent will eliminate the model before you even get the chance.
  15. This is similar to something like Lilith's Whirling Death while trying to target the Dreamer surrounded by Nightmares. If she fails to kill all the Nightmares before she attempts to strike the Dreamer, she can't target the Dreamer. Whirling Death only allows you to target a model once. She targets the Dreamer, Shadowy Form says you must target a Nightmare. That Nightmare has already been targeted by Whirling Death; so therefore, the strike against the Dreamer and his replacement target fail. The Marcus/Shikome example is right along the same lines.
  16. Kadeton and I appear to not be convinced by the fizzle rule in situations like this, another one I can think of is Trapped in Your Own Nightmare. The last ruling involving the fizzle rule was Mei Fang and the Terminus trigger which I know you were part of the postings, Ausplosions. In that situation, Railwalk does not require a target, just a friendly model meeting the conditions. On Your Feet and Trapped in Your Own Nightmare require a target. Which is slightly different and in Malifaux slightly different can mean completely different. So can a model cast a spell, remove and effect it doesn't have and gain the other effects from the spell? Either way is fine, I'm asking to know, so when I see this situation come up I know the answer. EDIT........ I hope that did not come off as offensive. I wasn't brushing off what you had to say. I'm just not completely convinced.
  17. An example is the best way to ask my question. Can I cast On Your Feet on a model that is not Paralyzed?
  18. You cannot Summon another model while controlling an enemy model. But The Dismount action says Replace and Replace is a placement effect. So I say you can Dismount McCabe if you Alpha him.
  19. This happened a while back and am just now getting around to figuring out how it is to/you all play it. Papa Loco dies doing his huge pulse hitting a lot. One of the guild models dies activating Slow to Die. My opponent and I still had models that needed to make resist flips. In this kind of multi-model resist flip, when does slow to die happen? We played it that it happens after all models make their resist flips first as i took it as one big "Determine Success" stage of an attack . Was this played right?
