GamerGaeth
Right, so I was putzing around the other day and something occurred to me. You know what this game needs that would fit just fine into its aesthetic? A victorian-era time-traveller. What do you all think of the idea? He could be an Outcast master, with minions like; dinosaurs, a kind-of retro-futuristic guy (think the Buck Rogers comics), time anomalies (I don't know what they'd look like, but I'm imagining human-shaped rips in space), a cave man, etc. As for his particular trick for how he plays, I'm not quite sure what would work. I was thinking that he could have spells to help him bolster his control cards, but that could easily become far too powerful.
ZiggyQubert
he should be allowed to always cheat after his oponent or instead of cheating fate may chose to replace any card played with one in his hand (i.e. he gets the card he is replacing) only for him though, not for minions
GamerGaeth
Gave it a little more thought. Perhaps he could have a scheme to end the game with at least five 12+ cards in the control hand - aligning fate to fit with his timeline or something. thescale
Maybe he could play around with exiling models? Like, instead of dealing damage, his spell just straight up banishes the target. It would obviously require a high suit card, but that would synergize with stacking your hand.

Lots of offensive usage of the Burying mechanic?
gru6y
That is a sweet idea. Opens up for lots of options, mechanics and minion possibilities.
Hatchethead
(all) McFly!: During final VP calculation, if it is determined that this model's crew has lost the encounter, the results are ignored and the game immediately restarts with the turn 1 initiative flip. Place Future Self within friendly deployment zone. If this model and a friendly Future Self are ever within 6" at the start of either model's activation, it tears a hole in the space time continuum, ending the game in a draw. Trigger: Ca (:tomes) 88 MPH Any time this model uses a time-based spell, push this model a full 24". Okay, okay, I've got to be careful with this: These jokes could easily derail the thread entirely. Jon Kerr
His Avatar could be a blue police-telephone box? .... sorry, couldnt resist. I actually think this is a great idea, if we have Jekkyl/Hyde, Jack the Ripper, the Pied Piper, ........ why can't we have Dr. Who!? GamerGaeth
Judge Dread Whoah, I must have missed something - who becomes Dredd?
schristofersen
yes but would "the doctor" master have 13 avatars? and then of course there would have to be a "master" master. I do like the idea of having him limited to two minions in his crew who of course end up dead, or leaving him at the end of the series... er... encounter. Jon Kerr
Whoah, I must have missed something - who becomes Dredd?
