  1. 'Big enough' to tell you myself? Im not quite sure what I did to deserve that hostility, as far I remember all Ive done is paint prizes for you for free. Apologies for not letting you know I wasn't attending, I assumed it was the other way around (as in, I should tell you if I wanted to come) since I also havent bought a ticket. Sorry for causing any confusion, and thanks for the offer of a place. Thanks, Jon
  2. Sorry mate, really hope I didn't sound condescending. Just trying to help and the guide is really straightforward. Beautiful paintjob like I said. Particularly love the green coat, it really makes her "pop" in-amongst all that flame Awesome job on the flames too- with so much area being flame it'd be easy to mess that up, so great job.
  3. Better still, check out this link to fix your own images... http://www.coolminiornot.com/articles/1724-the-gimp-photo-manipulation Beautiful paintjob, now we can see it
  4. Very cool, gorgoeus paint job! I can't wait to see more .... but get rid of that God-awful background for your photos. Plain black, plain white or gradient blue would be fine. With the yellowish colour at the bottom and the blue waves, she almost looks like a Hawaiian chick on a beach.
  5. Wow, excellent work on a model that probably isnt one of Wyrd's strongest sculpts.... you've done a brilliant job bringing it up to scratch! Can't wait to see some paint on her
  6. Very nice work! Love the cactus bases for the Ortegas. Where are they from? They dont look home-sculpted (I've tried before..... not as easy as it looks, and I can sculpt a fair amount)
  7. Xander?? Where are yooouuuuuuuuu? *echo* You've been neglecting your blog, the interwebz is not happy. Joking apart, any progress? Really excited to see more paint go on these guys Alyce in particular.
  8. Google is your friend I use Photobucket, but ImageDump is pretty much the same. Flickr is an alternative.
  9. Would love to know where you got the bear from? I know you said it was a 1:32 scale gladitor set but what any idea what company? It's a great basis for the new bear!
  10. Awesome paint job!..... but you need to blast that bad-boy with some matt varnish! He looks a bit shiny and the varnish will take that away. The stuff I use is Army Painter Anti-shine, but I hear Dullcote is better.
  11. I meant Lucius, but it wasnt Judge Dredd I meant...... not sure why that name came into my head. Cant think of the character I was thinking of now.
  12. His Avatar could be a blue police-telephone box? .... sorry, couldnt resist. I actually think this is a great idea, if we have Jekkyl/Hyde, Jack the Ripper, the Pied Piper, ........ why can't we have Dr. Who!?
  13. Beautiful skin tone, lovely painting. Can't wait to see the rest! My only suggestion would be to tone down the eyes with a glaze or two- looks like you have used actual white for the eyeballs. Many painters tend to use an off-white for the whites of the eyes, and a dark grey for the pupils, as it makes the eyes look less glarey.
