The problems stem form the inability to portray sarcasm etc in a convincing way. Sometimes its obvious but a lot of the time it gets lost, especially when there are many cultures involved. Don't say "These things suck balls", say "I don't like the pose, and was really hoping for something more of a statue". Really easy. It wouldn't be the first time that Wyrd change a model due to critique (s. Colette). On the other hand, say "I like their heads", not "They are awesome, and everybody who thinks different is a tasteless git". Easy as well. Saying "The people complaing just came out of their basement to complain" is borderline insulting, especially if some very active members of the community were included in the statement, e.g. ZFiend and Ausplosions are active, mostly positive, Wyrd loving people.
