bowchikawowers
Probably depends on if you just want table top quality or better. Also, I just sculpted the ice cream cone onto my gryphon rider's hand. Should it be chocolate, vanilla or strawberry ice cream?

bowchikawowers
They'd also probably charge me more shipping. I'm ok with waiting.
Mister Shine
Neopolitan? Also I should probably get some more demo crews done up... Tara is coming along nicely, put in the ebay order for the Tamiya stuff and UHU
edonil
They'd also probably charge me more shipping. I'm ok with waiting. Fair enough. They might not though, won't know until you ask! I don't think they did the one time I screwed it up. Oh, and I'm voting Strawberry Ice Cream. What's a good point, Mako? And what the heck is UHU? O.o

Mako
That four crews means two demo tables running. That's a pretty good point to my mind.
edonil
Oh, right, lol. I figure if I can get three, I can borrow my friend's Lilith crew. Lady J vs. Rasputina and Mei Fang vs. Lilith.
Mister Shine
Plus it'll get me painting again. I was really surprised to see how crap I'd gotten at it, although I can see a clear difference between model 1 & 2, so I guess Im just super rusty? edonil
...I just realized something. In the first wave of the new plastic starters, including the Ten Thunder ones that got updated, we've got two male Masters, lol. Seamus and Jakob Lynch. That's kinda interesting. Mako
UHU is a clear gel glue, very stringy and rubbery, and comes in a yellow tube: Adding a little bit of Tamiya clear (red) gives you stringy goopy blood like stuff. Tamiya clear (smoke) makes oily slime, and so on. It's my preferred method for gore and blood when I need it to actually hang in strands.
Mister Shine
So for strands of void goop, probably UHU, black and smoke? Also what should I use to fill the base with a similar looking substance? Can i just pour more in there?
edonil
...I think I'm going to have to get some of that stuff now. I can think of a lot of uses for it, lol.

bowchikawowers
A painting question. What kind of primer do you use, Mako?
Mako
Honestly? Games Workshop spray black. For models, I love the stuff. Doesn't clog details, and keys the surface for paint beautifully. White isn't as good, but still decent enough.
bowchikawowers
hm... I dont' particularly want to give my money to GW... ---------- Post added at 08:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:43 PM ---------- Thanks though!
edonil
I use Krylon Camouflage flat black.
Mako
It's the only thing of theirs I still use. And I've come to terms with spending that much every year or so on primer, I'm not even paying for one staff members lunch break that way *grin*

edonil
I would be using it, but I just don't like how it comes out in the end. Plus, I've had multiple cases when it was significantly cheaper (about 50% of the price) of not being able to use a full can because the nozzle would clog up and ruin. Considering that the paint and can design haven't changed, but it's doubled in price, I'm not about to buy it again, lol.
Mako
I hear bad things from numerous people, but I've never had a can fail on me yet. Either I'm very lucky (which we all know isn't true) or the UK stuff is a lot more reliable!
