Anyway, it's interesting to read about folks speculating on GW's financial reports. The short answer seems to be "they aren't going away anytime soon, but they are not seen as the only show in town anymore, and the numbers reflect what a lot of gamers are seeing in their stores and clubs- less GW playing, more of other companies being played instead." I really wish they put more effort into making good games and business decisions to take advantage of that. Nothing wrong with liking their IP- I like it to a certain extent too. Nothing that says you can't use other rules. FUBAR has a 40k supplement, among other things.
