odinsgrandson
Here are a couple miniatures from the Pulp City line that I painted just a little while ago. The super hero miniatures are pretty fun to paint, especially since there is absolutely no reason to make them match one another. The names of these minis are Blood Rose and Trail. Kathie v Vhoorl
Nice! I really like the minis. Super Heroes look like they would be a joy to paint. Great freehand on Blood Rose and the cape on Trail has wonderful blending/colors.
Ratty
I'm looking at Blood Rose and thinking, Um.. base for a possible spirit version of Kirai. I've always wanted 2 models for her, so I could keep track if shes a spirit or not.

Either way, nice work- these guys really blow away the competition for super hero minis. I've got a few more Pulp City minis on my table, I'll be posting those up soon. thewartoad
Fantastic work on the freehand but what "pops" out to me is the robe with the shading & highlights!
odinsgrandson
I should make sure to tell you that on Blood Rose, that isn't totally freehand. The design is embossed on her dress (kind of like the GW banners). Although I generally don't like the idea of embossing the insignias like that, in this case I think it worked rather well, as it actually does end up looking like freehand. Also, I have more Heroes/Villains to show off: \
