  1. Wow. Phenomenal. I love those strong highlights.
  2. Thanks Curtis for helping out with the photo!
  3. "Laura the Pretty in Pink Panther Realm." While some of the Kingdom Death Survivors hunt the White Lion, Laura specializes in more elusive prey - Pink Panther. She thinks she is pretty in the pink armor made of the panther's hide.
  4. Actually... I am kinda happy, as I wanted it but really shouldn't be grabbing it before other priorites
  5. Wasn't there supposed to be yellow translucent Hamelin set?
  6. Howdy Ladies & Gentlemen, returning to Malifaux literally years after (I was an active member of the forums when Wyrd had just a couple of releases and way before Malifaux ) and starting to work on my Arcanists. Very curious - where can one find any fluff/background on the Dark Carnival crew? Thanks for any pointers, Morf
  7. Actually we are back for the good three weeks or so, we were upgrading the store technology to make is safer and better. And fully stocked! Great paintjob on these guys, always a pleasure to see great painters take on the miniatures born of my mind
  8. James van Schaik on the sculpting tools, Nomic on the brushes. Coming out in a month or so in a two-pack with a vampire and a little vampiric dog (does it make it a three-pack?) Zed is a Level 2 Necroplane Villain with two Damage grids - finish one off to score Agenda Points for killing Zed but you need to finish both to stop him from ravaging Pulp City.
  9. Take care Malebolgia. You've been the most excellent monkey I've ever known!
  10. I think there is a lot of doomsaying here. PP is a great company which managed to survive a transition from home company to a giant, with extremely good communication with the fanbase. At these volumes, you can't satisfy everybody, in fact, the more you try the more you stray from a good model they obviously have. You say there is no "elaborate mechanics"? I guess we all forgot what innovation focus/fury were back in the days. How having a central figure that shapes your army (same as in Malifaux) strayed from the concept of other games. So my praise where it's due.
  11. Maybe FF has boatloads of Therian starters from the days of cooperation with Rackham.
  12. I agree with that :bounce: Sorry, couldn't help! As to if I would like my jack plastic or metal: always plastic. My jacks have the history of falling apart even if pinned, scratched paintjobs even if varnished and lots of, lots of other stories like that. Plus - putting together a plastic kit with interchangeable arms is SO much easier than working with metal. I can have all 3 variants by spending just 30 USD.
  13. Here's the weird thing - the scale is all over. I just got my box of ebay goodness (btw, the game is pretty awesome) and take a look at two archers of the same race. The one sculpted by Tom Meier (left) is on par with Wyrd, Pulp City, Anima sculpts.
  14. Thanks a lot everybody! Vike, I'm looking at the next four waves of releases and they will deliver some of the most super heroic, spandex Supremes in the history of PC!
  15. Hero, Heavy Metal subfaction. Level 2. @Kloudfire: Thanks, I'm pretty sure that there is quite a few good people that can review the game in short, I wouldn't be very objective
  16. Slacker! Seriously, congratz Jeff, this was one great entry for Iron Painter! Congratz to my hometown boy Bohun for grabbing a couple including gold!
  17. I bet they would look great when painted with metallics on armor pieces.
  18. Well, than they just killed 50% of your shows. I gave a run of most comedy series premieres, I'll give 2-3 more episodes of Community and Modern family a chance. The Cleveland Show is repetitory but still much more in my book than anything else. I lost interest in BG when they started doing those silly "Oh, my life is broken" one-episode character developments. Like Apollo... gaining weight with a hastily attached putty to his face. That was just a breaker for me.
  19. Coming out in November, this leader of Heavy Metal comes in a duo pack with Nuclear Jones, his most trusted sidekick. What makes C.O.R.E. very special is also the 3 access points he comes with, that can be upgraded with Resources into battlestations, shield or energy transmitters... or all of the above. The hero may freely download itself into any of the stations. Thanks to Byte Knight Action, it also possesses the ability to shape the material form into one of the military legends and adopt his battle style. Concept by Liam C., sculpt by Jarek Smolka, paintjob by Nomic. And yes, he comes with the sword arm variant too.
  20. The issue is usually with the decoration and terrain size.
