odinsgrandson
I recently got a commission to do some dungeon terrain shelves. I don't actually know what my client is going to do with them, but the only miniatures game that they seem to be really right for is Malifaux. I mean, most games can't really have a battle inside a building at all, and if they do, some of the grotesque things we have on these shelves wouldn't fit in. So, here are some book shelves:

Koyote
Beautifully painted. Do you know the name of the vendor that made these bookcases?
odinsgrandson
All of these book cases are made by a company called Thormillion. They do quite a bit of different terrain pieces for dioramas and miniatures. Go ahead and check them out, you might find something you like. Svenn
Very cool looking! I've always liked the idea of decorating up the inside of the houses, but it just seems like it makes it harder to play.
nerdelemental
With the new interior rules, it's getting easier to conceptualize fighting inside where you actually need more of this. And "inside" location, though, isn't just 5"X6", but more like 1.5'X2'. Not only does terrain like this NOT get in the way, but it's essential to make the game play more like it's supposed to. They look great, btw, OGS!
odinsgrandson
You know, I could see both of those. I figure that the more the board looks like what it is representing, the better. I'd love for my minis to take cover behind a bookshelf or a sofa, you know? the keeper
Very inspiring stuff, are the shelves that detailed, or are you just that good of a painter... may be both...
AvatarForm
Just wondering... how much?
jmp_mydog
I just ordered a bunch of bookshelves and the organ, after shipping it was around $70, US. I'll post up a review once I get them.
AvatarForm
Sorry, to be clear, @ OP: How much did the commission cost?
odinsgrandson
Sorry, to be clear, @ OP: How much did the commission cost? The more simple books shelves ran 5.99 apiece, the more complex ones and larger ones ran 7.99 apiece. These pictures are really just samples. He had me do a whole library, and I can't actually remember how many pieces altogether.
