Warpainter
Hello, Painted up my first Malifaux model. Lilith from the Neverborn Faction. This is going to be my entry to the first painting competion at Village Games (my LGS). I really enjoyed painting her and taking my time really paid off. I started to read the Malifaux book and slowly getting the hang of how it is played. Just need to get some friends together and play. I am hoping with this entry and the other Malifaux models I plan on entering in future painting contests. It will generate interest in the game. alemon
The blood on the sword looks great. Ive never noticed, before, that lilith has stockings.
Poko
The blood-how. I tried the tamiya clear red trick, and it ended up looking so bad I just scraped it off her blade and painted it again.
Warpainter
Thanks guys! @Poko - I mixed Privateer Press P3 Red and Brown Ink in a 50/50 mix. I believe I added some matte medium and water effects. Can't quite remember. I painted it on in the desired area. Pushed and pulled the paint around to get what I wanted. I was painting some GW Nurgle Plaguebeares with blood splatter. Check out my blog to see them. And Lilith's sword looked a little bland. So I added the blood on the sword. I was tempted to add a drip of blood on her lip. But decided against it. Thought it might be too much. But really how can you go wrong with gore! -K. KirigakurenoHaku
This looks really good! I do applaud your work so! Great job! The detail you've managed on Lilith's face, I think, is the most impressive of them all! Many kudos!
