  1. Here are 18 models that i have painted for Malifaux So far...not sure what i wanna pick up next. I have 2 Hoarcat Prides sitting on my desk to be painted next. I really cant wait for some of the new arcanists to come out. anyways here ya go
  2. Give yerself some credit, i really dont think it looks bad at all. The colors are really bright and vibrant and if thats the look your going for then excellent
  3. Click my Signature for my complete hobby blog...i re-posted these pictures in a better format http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=15146
  4. Its alot easier to start a gaming club with malifaux than other game systems simply because you can have just about everything you need to play for under 100$ My closest LGS to play in is about 45 minutes away, which isnt too bad of a drive but with a infant at home and my crazy work schedule its hard to get out. What i Did was build a 6x4 gaming table in my garage, i built it 6x4 so i could play other games like 40k and its still a great size for malifaux you play on 1/2 of the board, and just add 6 inches to the deployment zone, and then you can use the other half for your deck and stat cards and such. i've basically just spread my club by word of mouth, i was leary about inviting strangers from like craigs list or somthing to my house. So i have a few friends that play...and invite them and friends of friends. It may cost you a little extra in the building of the table and terrain, but for me its totally worth it, we have a blast. hope this helped some
  5. You definately want to thin your paints, some people use an agent called flow improver...it comes from many different companies and in many different names, but you add it to your paint and it thins it out and keeps it "wet" longer so you have more time to "blend". I personally just use water to thin my paints, its just what i prefer, but alot of your "serious" painters swear by the flow improver. Google Liquitex thats one of the brand names you hear alot of. Also YouTube search for Awesomepaintjob.com he is an Amazing painter, and has alot of tips and tricks on what he uses.
  6. I understand its a crazy week, and i'm not upset, i'm a "new" customer to this company and just wasnt sure of the procedures, just wasn't sure if it was normal or what, So like you said as long as i'm not forgotten, i can wait Thanks for the help folks Kenny
  7. Hey Guys, i'm reaching out here for a little bit of Help, I bought a blister pack of Hoarcat Pride from an Online Retailer of Wyrd Minis, When i recieved the blister it only had 2 cats and a 30mm base in it, instead of 3 cats and a 40mm base. They told me to take it up with Wyrd Customer Service...The only option i found was the Contact Us email support Wyrd offers, and i sent them an email on August 2nd about the issue, a few more since, i havent heard back from them, and its been a little while, i knew they were busy with Gen Con but its been 2 weeks, i did get an email back, an automaticly generate email from Support@wyrd-games.net that said Thank you for your message. We'll respond as soon as possible. That came back on Aug 2nd as soon as i sent the email, but nothing since. I dont want anyone to think i am complaining or bashing wyrd because i'm not, i Love the company and love the game and minis i get from these guys. Does it usually take this long to hear somthing though? Its really not a huge deal, i was just wondering if anyone knew another way that i could contact customer support? Thanks Kenny
  8. Like i said these were painted for a friend of mine. He told me to use grays as their main theme, and told me to have Hans stand out a bit...i wanted to keep a little Red in there as it seemed important to "the Guild".
  9. Hey Guys, this is a clan i Painted for a close friend of mine, i will most likely face this clan more than any other. check them out on my blog here http://kens40k.blogspot.com/2010/08/malifaux-ortega-clan-comission-complete.html
  10. Here are some shots of the Ortega Gang i did for a friend of mine http://kens40k.blogspot.com/search/label/Guild
  11. For those i was just going to trace the 50mm circle on a piece of spare floor tile, cut it out, sand it, put some really small scraps of jagged Polystryene on it, and some snow flock, and paint it up to look like broken ice...since its supposed to be height 0, but i actually wanted to put the Pilliars on bases, wa gonna do the pillars out of polystryene too.
