AntiZombie
So first of all i do not believe that these models stack up to the usual quality that wyrd produces. I had a real hard time painting these guys just cause i didnt especially like how them. Anyway i couldn't do the things im gonna do with most of the other Japanese ghosts and i just wanted to get these guys out of the way. So here are the sewer stalking gaki ( sorry about the camera glare Peace AZ
AvatarForm
Impressed you actually put paint on them. I plan to boycott them and use alternates, just like the steampunk aboms... I just dont think that much effort went into them...
DireTrollJake
Compared to Wyrds norm, not the greatest. Compared to many minis out there...still good. Regardless, I really like what you did here. Hell, I wouldn't mind seeing a whole army that looks like this with nice basing lol
AntiZombie
Thanks for the kind words glad i wasnt the only who felt this way. Though the one dancing like a windmill is my favorite but i think the other one will provide more GLOMPing hilarity.
Shadowopal
I like the paint job even if the minis are sub-par in your opinion. I'll have to see them in person before I'll commit to the quality of the sculpts.
Pipeline
well they do have an insatiable hunger for feces...
ddot
The one on the left is a cool mini. The pose on the right one isn't very good. Regardless, the paint job is pretty cool.

Steam gizmo
I think the sculpts are ok, not worst or best. But a very nice paint job.
theHman
Personally, I like the minis. But hey, to each their own. You did a great job painting them. Can you share how you painted them up? What colors did you use? How did you blend and get such an awesome turquoise?
Chucklemonkey
You did a great job painting them. Can you share how you painted them up? What colors did you use? How did you blend and get such an awesome turquoise? I will second the questions above. I really like the effect you have created there. alemon
Are the gakis rare? unique? Because the sculpting looks fine, and looks common enough for a model that can be massed. The effect looks really cool, I'm gonna try someting like that for some of my models
AntiZombie
Well I owe my new painting level up to brushmistress but here is the gist of things colors: darkest to light scorched brown night blue camen green hawk turquoise jade green white I started by blending the camen green into a neutralized but still bright hawk turquoise I shadowed the camen green with scorched brown down to night blue to create the darkest shade then I shadowed the turquoise with night blue then I highlighted up to jade green and white feather the shades and highlights together and make sure your shadow colors are thin but usable ( thinner than the base coats) Hope that helps
Deadpool
I notice the sewer bases are different from your onryo is there a plan for the bases. But love the paint job.
theHman
Cool, thanks AZ. One other question, what brand of paints are the non-gw ones?
AntiZombie
No real plan for the based, wanted to try out some new ones. I just look for bases that will compliment the mini only scorched brown was gw all the rest are Vallejo game color
