  1. awwww... I had the same idea, (Bete as a Bride), but you beat me to it. Good job by the way.
  2. the whole figure looks great, but you did an amazing job on the face
  3. the convict gunslinger is not one of my favorite Wyrd models, but you made him look like a voodoo priest with guns. I really like it.
  4. Thanks for the great comments. These dogs were great fun to paint, they are such great models. It's a rabbit, I used one from a Horrorclix model and it fit perfectly under the Chihuahua's right paw. I will look into the doctor's gloves. They are darker in person, but I see now on the picture that they are indeed almost identical to the rest of the suit. I will see what I can do with it. Thanks.
  5. Here are my first ressurectionist models:
  6. You were told right. That looks really nice.
  7. That's what we all thought when er started this game :thumb: But all kidding aside, the best thing is choosing a faction/master you like on looks, and have a good time painting the crew. Every crew is good to play, but you may need to get a few additional models to expand. I also like the look of Shamus and his Belles and I played them at a demo. They are great, but I opted for a different master because I didn't want to play more zombies at the time. But then, when you start reading the rules of the other miniatures, then you go: Ooooh, this is cool, Oooh, this will play nice, Oooooooh, that could be a great combo. And before you know it, you will have an additional crew and models.
  8. it's trial and error. And you have to be willing to make mistakes, don't be afraid to paint. Use layers of thin paint instead of one thick layer, and practice on a minion first before you get to paint a master. Also, some models are easier to paint then others. If a model has a lot going on (facial structure, raised eyebrows, lips etc.) it is easier to paint details with just a simple drybrush.
  9. They look really great. Beautiful flesh tones. Great job!
  10. Then it's a good thing we can paint all the minis the way we want
  11. Nice and simple, and a great lay-out. I really like your door mat crops, excellent!
  12. a little small, but her picture is available as a smiley::molly
  13. They are inspired by those buildings, but I built them all by myself. Thay are mostly built from cardboard. I am going to dirty up the buildings, they are not finished yet. I have to paint the wood, add some barrels and sacks and base the plates they are on. It's long from finished but it is a playable game board.
  14. Utrecht, the Netherlands added!
  15. It's Euro's. I understand why you are confused, because they used the Euro sign instead of the E, and if you don't know it it can look like a C.
  16. I really like the red cobblestones on the bases. Great job on the entire crew.
  17. Looking good. Great use of the pinks and purples. She looks so innocent from the back.
  18. I was starting to assamble my sisters Lord Chompy bits, and when I was seeing all the parts laying on the table I got this image in my head, I hope you like it! I present to you: Malifaux perfection!
  19. Looking good so far! Can't wait to see it finished.
  20. This is the one I use for Perdita: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIu5LvkSKl4[/ame] Or this one is good too: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLanWagsaM8[/ame]
  21. Steal away! That's how I got the idea for the water tower in the first place
  22. this one maybe: http://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/miniatures/limited-editions/halo-limited-edition-499.html I haven't gotten book 2 yet, so I don't know if she fits (this one is maybe a bit too aggressive?), but she has some kind of mechanical wings
  23. Thanks for all the kind words. I was planning on making a winter theme first but then I got some ideas for this and I couldn't be stopped When I was little, I had this kind of build a castle kit. You had to make the castle from paper and paste the bricks to the side. I never got around to build it, but I got a case full of these little bricks. (and some rooftiles aswell, but haven't found a use for it yet).
  24. Amazing, I really like your Ramos Stark
  25. For something that you didn't like, they turned out really great.
