The special effects were outstanding, but Citizen Kane, it aint..... lol B movies are much more fun when they don't have huge budgets and 'mega-stars'. I think that mix makes it cringeworthy. Outright crap, B move top end and they meant it that way, but loads of fun. The 2012 stuff, holes in the plot you could drive a semi through - but the visuals, those were fun! Big lover of B movies, don't have to take it serious or even really pay attention and then something happens that just makes you laugh at the absurdity of it (love it when that one guy jumps into the water only to get snapped out of the air by the shark .. hah).
