PhineusPhule
Just got into the game and purchased the Body Thieves & Legion of Sorrows box sets. My question for other players is what have you found to be the best way to use the stat cards. At first I thought I would just slide them into card sleeves and use a dry erase to track wounds and then I discovered they fold out. I don't want to have to take the cards out of a sleeve every time I want to reference something so I'm considering just laminating them. How do other people play? SchuleinP
I made a list of the info at the inside of the cards of my gang and put them in card sleeves. :seamus
WEiRD sKeTCH
Some people use sleeves, some just laminate the cards. Either way, this isn't a rules question so I'll move this to the appropriate location.
ork56
laminate ftw. def the best answer, but if you are nervous about feeding your only cards into a hot machine with melted plastic, then you can get toploaders in a large enough size to hold the cards opened flat. have a look on evilbay. Major_Gilbear
This topic has come up a few times... Here and here. Common consensus is to use bigger sleeves or laminating the cards. Personally, I scan them such that I have two double-faced cards for each model that will fit in standard pennysleeves (ie Warmachine-sized). I favour this method because it allows me to update the cards with errata clarifications, and because I can put photos of my own models in the model portrait areas if I want to (this is useful for when you have multiples of certain models - like Hoarcats, Gremlins, Spiders etc and you need to remember which card is which). Wombats
Laminating is very cheap - $20 laminater and $20 for a hundred sleeves. Makes them last forever and non-permanent markers are brilliant for wound tracking.
Beermonkey
I've had good luck just using little plastic tokens to mark damage on the models. Found them in the Floral section of the craft store, they even look like soul stones! For $4 you can't go wrong. Beside I've never had a model take more than 3 hits before it went away anyway. Monkeyclops
Like Beermonkey, my friends and I either use counters or dice to track wounds. I have a bunch of red, stackable, plastic counters from Heroscape that I may start using.

Warlord Imp
Go to th local craft store or 99 cent store and get the cheap photo albums. The cards will fit the sleeves and you can flip through the cards easily. Use a dry erase marker to mark wounds.
MagnustheJust
Myself and several others use the 4" x 6" sports card 'top loader' hard sleeves. And at 25 for around $5 bucks(US), they are a lot cheaper than the laminater and sheets!! Also, less chance of the cards getting ruined by lamination failure... Sturm88
I plan on hot laminating my cards. This has actually been a gripe with me. The card design. There is a lot of needless information and a lot of space that is being taken up for...what, no idea. The cards are supposed to be a tool for ease of gameplay, not a show piece. I would have much rather preffered a single standard card size.
blue loki
No need to actually purchase a laminator (unless you'll be using it enough to actually save $$). Just head over to FedEx/Kinkos and use theirs. You pay by the sheet and can get several done in one sheet.
