Grimwolf
Alright here is Lady J, I am thinkin' of switching the Color Schemes of her and the Judge, let me know what you think. (She still needs some metallics thrown on her and I need to figure out what color to paint her blind fold... any help would be much appreciated.) And now here she is with her crew, no paint... yet, just based. Thanks for takin' a look. -Grim
EricJ
looks good, although it is very bright right now, I might suggest doing a dark wash on her to darken her a bit in the recesses, which will also make all the detail stand out better as well! Grimwolf
Thanks for the comments guys! I may add a very controlled darker wash to some areas of Lady J to bring out some of the details. I have been working on her all night and a little this morning (I love the fact that I get wednesdays off now!!! Wooty Woot!) I should have her finished here pretty soon and I will post up a finished pic. Again Thanks, it is always appreciated

For me, getting a red head to come out right is always a challenge. At least getting it to come out as I see it in my head. haha

Peterdita
Hotness! Orange is my favorite color so I'm bias, But I love the look to her.
Gobbo
Wow, that hair is über red. Maybe a wash of chestnut or sepia to tone it down to a little more natural. I think they are looking good, but the hair is just to bright for my taste.
Sarrazon
I like it! Glad to see someone else has had the idea of brighter marshals.
Grimwolf
Thanks for the comments guys! They are much appreciated! I kind of like the orange hair, I dunno, I just like it. I will probably leave it the way it is. Thanks for the insight though, it is bright, kind of on purpose though, makes the blue pop more I think.... Anyway, again the comments are appreciated. Now on to the Judge!

TheBugKing
Looking good Grimmy! I like the orange. The same as a bunch of your dwarfs no?
Grimwolf
Lol, so you noticed did you Bugs ? I have used this color on a couple of my dwarves as well. Thanks everyone for the kind words.
DangerousBeans
very nice, her hair is amazing! I'll just say though, maybe a little dark lining about the belt area? It may just be the photos but that area doesn't seem very defined. The denim effect is excellent, how did you do that? Stippling?
Grimwolf
Thanks Beans. I think I see what you are saying there, the white from the shirt kind of runs onto the pants... is that what you are getting at? Anyway, the Denim effect well, I used a couple of Rackham blue paints one for base and then a darker one for a wash, then I used some white and tried to do some crosshatching, then I washed again with GW Foundation Charadon Granite and well, this was the result. Hope that helps.

Grimwolf
Thanks war toad! Alrighty, I finished up the Judge here he is along with a pic with him and his Lady. Let me know what you think. Thanks for lookin' -Grim Edited August 29, 2009 by Grimwolf Added a shot of their bases
EricJ
nice work! They work real well together, the darker colors for the judge really accent the brighter LJ. Looks like you did something interesting with the Judges base, do you have any from a different angle? Looks like a wood plank floor?
