St. Anger
This is one of my all-time favorites from the 90's, and I even have this band's logo tattooed on me: Silent Lucidity - Queensryche Great song!!! I always enjoyed Mindcrime... They also did a great remake of Floyd's Welcome to the Machine....
Xenon_Wulf
I'll see your Sisters of Siouxsie and raise you a New Order I'll see your New Order and raise you a Bauhaus. (I'd raise a Joy Division, but after New Order, it's kinda pointless). Nathan Caroland
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hYV-JSjpyU]YouTube - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly Theme[/ame] When I was iddy biddy kid around 3-5 years old, my dad would start off every Saturday morning with this song for me on his huge KenWood speakers which were bigger than me and you could hear five blocks away when turned all the way up. Used to gallop around the house excited about this song. When it was late in the evening and was off playing with the other kids and it was time to come home I would hear this song get cranked up and knew it was time to come home. Would pedal my arse off on my big wheel! Have fond memories of this song.

matty1001
Fairport convention are playing in Newcastle later this year, almost booked tickets to see them. Here's a couple by John Martyn, who sadly passed away a few weeks ago aged 60. I went to see him a couple of years back, and although he was in pretty bad shape his music never let down. Amazing gig. Definitely one of the best singing voices ever. Beelzebrush
Fairport are well worth going to see. I usually go to their annual festival at cropredy in Oxfordshire... it's a great weekend. Aye John Martyn did indeed have a great voice - a shame he's no longer with us :/ Solid Air is a classic!
matty1001
Had to change the vid from Solid Air as embedding was disabled. Unfortunately I cannot listen to Solid Air anymore without laughing since my Dad told me how similar 'Living on Solid Air' sounds like 'Living on Sausages' due to the way he sings it. Peace and love...
gohkm
Gentsurenka ('Love Moon Flower') from the soundtrack to Shadow Hearts 2. Brings me almost to tears everytime, it's that sad.
Elly3438
Besides full albums I think are the best in their ultimate enjoyable completeness, like Genesis "Duke" and The Who's "Quadrophenia" I would have to say today would be: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvwrSdMY7dQ]YouTube - Alan Parsons Project "TIME"[/ame] I love this song, I know it's morbid but I want it played at my funeral. Also how come it seems nobody has any love for the metal on these boards? LOL This song is a classic, and Halford is insane... victim of chaaaaaaaaaaangeeeees!!!! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXqb_3fR6Ok]YouTube - Judas Priest - Victim of Changes[/ame] I could go on and on lol I'm glad to see some Pink Floyd, but my all time Floyd song has to be "Us and Them." Also I love the Queensryche, for me though I love "Queen of the Reiche." And lastly one of my ALL TIME favorite songs is "Everything Little Thing She Does is Magic" by the Police... well anything from the Police is good stuff... Beelzebrush
Another Fairport song... it's a trad song and been covered by al and sundry but this is quite haunting... featuring the late and sadly missed Sandy Denny. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3RMut_8IxQ]YouTube - Fairport Convention - Reynardine[/ame] lol Judas Priest crack me up Edited March 8, 2009 by Beelzebrush

Pensfan
Yes, I know, it's what's for dinner. I can think of a few rock songs I'd toss up here, but anything Mozart or Copeland would keep me happy. No kidding slick? I never pictured you for the classical type. I listen to everything except rap/country, but 80% of the time I listen to classical. I played violin and cello growing up, daughter plays both now, and I work part time as a luthier in one of the best violin shops in St. Louis now. So anyway.. yeah.. my favorite piece of music is by far is a toss up between Adagio in G Minor by Albinoni [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMbvcp480Y4]YouTube - Adagio in G Minor (Albinoni)[/ame] Or Air from Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major [ame= - Bach, Air on the G string (Air on a G string, string orchestra)[/ame]
