Yes, they were not my boards, but I bought my painted crews along, and demoed a couple of games to give the guys a break, it was busy but fun. In the shop so far I have demoed to eight people all of whom have bought either starter boxes or a faction box, so pretty successful, the shop is very happy, I just have to maintain interest now.

I have been demoing for two days at the shop and have so far had 6 participants, which has led to several purchases, as a consequence Malifaux is currently their best selling mini game after Games Workshop and X Wing. Still have a few more days, but will be taking my board to SALUTE to demo with Simple Miniatures and at the end of the month at my local gaming clubs open day. Thoroughly enjoying the demo process so far. Just wish I cold work out how to attach pictures, I only get option of files less than 4.1. Causing me problems.

I have recently become a Henchman, and will running my first organised event at Comics, Games and Coffee in Chichester. These will be a series of introductory games running from April 9th -18th. I will be going to SALUTE, but I have not arranged to be running demo/participation games there. But hopefully will do so in 2017, though this year would have been perfect as the theme is Steampunk.

At last some decent weather so I can get some decent photos of the starter crews, l hope you like. I have today submitted my application to become a henchman, so keeping fingers crossed. I am currently painting my Tara crew as this is the one that really excites, had a first trial game with her (only 30 soulstones) as expected I made a few mistakes but am looking forward to learning from these, today's game was still very close though my whole crew was wiped out. Lilith is definitely easier to get a grasp of as I had her crew down pat within the first game (though there is always more to learn). I think Tara may take a little longer but I love the possibilities she offers, I also think she will work better at the 40-50 soulstone level.

Tonight I have finished both the crews fom the starter set in tie for next Tuesdays demo for the store owners, not the greatest pictures will take some more in daylight later. I may add some blood splatters tomorrow, not sure yet. Let me know what you think.

Hello I have long been a member of this forum having played a bit of 1st edition, have been out of Malifaux for several years but but have always loved the aesthetics and have followed the game as an observer. This Christmas bought the starter set, and on New Years Eve a friend and I played through the introductory scenarios and this is my now my favourite miniatures game. I want to share this love so I have decided to apply to become a Henchman. I am currently finishing off painting up the two starter crews, they will be finished in next couple of days, I also need to finish of my two sided demo board, oneside will be desert/wilderness and the other cobblestones for my town. I also have a Lilith and Tara crew to paint. The plan is: This week to finish of starter set and board Start Liliths crew February 9th demo the game to my local shop "Comics Games and Coffee" in Chichester, West Sussex. The shop has only been open for a couple of months and currently only stocks X-Wing and GW but are looking to expand this area of their shop, the plan is for them to start stocking Malifaux in time for the main demo/participation games Build more scenery and create another game board, bayou/ ??? any suggestions welcome April, a week of Malifaux introduction games at the shop, I will have two boards available, for introductory games and will possibly do a couple of modelling/painting workshops towards the end of the week. I will also be doing introductory games at my local games club in Bognor on a Tuesday night throughout April and May June/July run a Shifting Loyalties campaign for all the new Malifaux players I have created My friend will be helping me throughout this, he has a Sonia and Victorias crew and a couple of game boards. I also plan to purchase and paint a new crew each month: February - Lilith and Tara March - Collette, I had this crew in metal and built this piece of scenery specifically for her. April - Perdita May - Seamus June- Dreamer July- Mc Mourning August - Ramos Not planned ahead further than this. I will record my progress on this thread. One more in game shot

Hello everyone I am just returning to the fold after a rather long hiatus from the hobby, I have been drawn back to miniature gaming by Malifaux as it was a game I loved when I was last gaming, and I love the look of the new plastics. My question is what has happened to the M2E main rulebook as I can't seem to buy it anywhere? I have ordered the A5 rules manual so I can start playing but would really like to get the new rulebook as I would like to read all the fluff.
