Hinton Posted July 27, 2007 Report Share Posted July 27, 2007 Just passing along some news: Duende's (Michelle's) grandmother passed away a couple of days ago. The service was today, so Michelle is with her family today. It came at kind of a strange time because they're supposed to be having their family reunion this weekend as well. Duende Posted July 28, 2007 Report Share Posted July 28, 2007 Thanks eveybody. I'm at my parent's house right now and the funeral was today and the family reunion is tomorrow. Grandma was the family matriarch, she had and raised 7 sons which as of today have given her 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was 91 years old and was always caring, compassionate and fair-minded. Up until the day she went into surgery a few weeks ago (which was what she never recovered from), she was still cooking cleaning house, quilting, and gardening.
