TeddyBear
The days in which I participated in tournaments have long passed; I would like to update myself a bit with all the factions starting from es, so, out of curiosity, in the tournaments enviroment, what are the ook models that are usually used with explorers? cktAvatar
I have used Winston Finnigan in a lot of crews OOK. He brings a lot of useful tools to the table. Arcane reservoir, deck manipulation, don’t mind me, a potential multi model leap, etc.

I remember seeing Calypso and Bebe often too, but this was before the last errata. I would like to know more, especially about seeker, evs, cadmus, dua and apex. TheUnseemlyOne
I think The Damned and Austera and Twigge are good ook models. The Damned has a suited Leap, is reasonably durable, and does ping damage when models around it heal. Austera and Twigge are good for some card cycling, light scheming, and can pretty reasonably shred light scheme runners from a distance.
Cursed25
I really like Lamplighters in Ivan! brings a few healing, push, more concealing markers for Ivan to jump to and they also give him positive flips when they are lit! Also as already said Austera is a pretty solid schemer and she's pretty independent if you need! She's really good in vendetta too!
hydranixx
Most of the keywords you've listed are happier to stay in keyword more often than not. Wastrel and Syndicate are probably the most likely to reach for ook models (and if you were to ask about Wastrel, I'd say there's a case for almost every single Minion being a niche ook pick). But there's plenty of great ook picks, it just depends on the table/map and your opponent's crew. As far as generalists go, The Damned, Austera, Rough Riders and Winston are pretty nice to hire into a variety of crews. They each offer good all round value if you play carefully with them, though it's worth noting they are all made of paper and won't stand up to a few hits. For specialists, Ullr, Jin, Grave Goo, Operatives, Brocken Spectres and Sand Worm and so forth will all have maps/match ups where they'll excel, but not all the time. For instance, Jin and Calypso create a cute repeatable combo to keep Unburying and knocking Minions back to the opponent's deployment, but I'd probably only invest in that if I were already playing EVS or DUA in Corner, or maybe, Standard Deployment.
