Why is McMourning 1's attack so weak? A short rant.

Exhibit A:

McMourning2 just plastic surgeries the Rogue Necro attack and has stat 6+ pouncing strike.

Exhibit B:

Mccabe2 gets min 3 with precise and a trigger to do another damage. So min 4 if he wants to stone!

Oh and his crew draws a ton of cards per turn so he always hits and he's defense 7 in melee.

Exhibit McMourning1, combat god of ressers:

Min. Two. (with crit strike).

Conclusion?

Perhaps once upon a time McMourning's attack was the right power level, but that time has passed. Buff McM1!

Counterpoint:

But McMourning1 can heal up 6 in his activation...

DON"T BRING YOUR FACTS AND LOGIC. I JUST WANT TO RANT.

I mean, just to add to the counter point-

McMorning is st 7.

McMorning actually has a 4 point health swing on a weak damage.

McMorning has poison built in, which is going to do extra damage. Its not easy to calculate exactly how much, and then divide that by the number of hits, but its generally going to be at least 2 extra damage per activation.

McMorning adds injured or card discard to his attack. If they choose not to discard a card, then he can be equivalent to st 9 on the second attack, and st 11 on the 3rd. Since he is also ignoring hard to wound, its really easy to get cheatable damage flips.

😜

To further rub formaldehyde into the would, just because Precise isn't on the back of the card, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I'd happily trade any Min 3 attack for -1 damage and Precise.

McCabe 2 gets both!

In all seriousness, mcmourning 1 is a great second master, and his crew is great with mcmourning 2 (well, like 5 of 8 models are).

So the real issue is the synergy  between mcm1 and his crew doesn't really deliver results.

If anything I'd buff his poison synergy over his attack.

But that is too much FACTS AND LOGIC 😡

Are construction rules facts and logic?

Take McMourning1 as a second Master into McMourning2.

Double the fun!
