Destructible terrain question

Question about destructible terrain. It just says a model within an inch of destructible terrain may take an action to destroy it. What kind of action is it? Is it an interact action?  If the model performs a walk action within 1” would that destroy it, or an attack action within 1”?

It is a special tactical action, we can call it "remove destructible terrain". It is not an interact action (and therefore can be taken while engaged).

 You take an action to destroy the terrain and it is destroyed. Its not a particular type of action (but you can call it a "destroy terrain action" if you really need a name), but all the action does is destroy the terrain and count towards the number of actions you have performed. So you can't take a walk action near the terrain and say that that action destroys the terrain.

Its not an interact action so models that otherwise couldn't interact may still destroy the terrain.

EDIT Scoffer is right that it is a tactical action if that matters
