Vendetta

Chris Rivers

Question

Vendetta states:

On Reveal:  At the end of the friendly model’s Activation, if it successfully dealt damage to the secretly chosen enemy model and the enemy model has half its maximum Health or less (but is still in play), you may reveal this Scheme to gain 1 VP.

Does this mean that your chosen model has to damage the model on a turn the enemy model is below half wounds?  Or can the enemy model be damaged by your chosen model then when the enemy model drops below half you can reveal the scheme for a point?

Slight clarification. It needs to be below half after the activation (when you reveal the scheme).

The main time this is relevant is when your first attack almost kills the target.

If you attack again and kill the target, you don't get the reveal, even though one of your attacks got the model below half.

You need to meet a few conditions:

1. The named enemy model is half life or less.

2. Your named friendly model dealt damage to it this activation (from an attack or any other effect) and this is the named friendly model's activation.

2a. You DONT need to be the one to have reduced it to half. Perhaps it was at half and you did one damage to it.

3. It is the end of that activation.

All three need to be true at a single point in time to score the point. Similarly, if you damage the model below half health and then they heal from your second attack above half (say from Feed On Fear), you won't score the point if it ends the activation above half health.

"at the end of THE FRIENDLY MODEL'S activation" refers to the model selected for Vendetta.

the only things that matter is that your model dealt damage to the target, and as a result, the target has less than half it's life remainig...
it doesn't mean that your model HAS to be the one that makes it drop below half... it just needs to be below half after the attack
