Gremlin66
I want to get more Bayou Gremlins for Somer but I don't want duplicates. What about using the Bushwackers and Bayou boxsets and mixing/making up different models? Would they be legal in a game? It's a thought.
-Loki-
Young Lacroix are popular. You're unlikely to use more than 4 Bayou Gremlins in an Ophelia crew, and they can't be used for anything in a So'mer crew. That gives you an additional 3 unique sculpts. Gremlin66
That's a thought to. I already have them.
Math Mathonwy
You could also search for the metal sculpts from the first edition. And there's one "limited edition" plastic Gremlin that can be found in mystery boxes so appears on ebay quite frequently.
Dogmantra
For casual games, you could just slap some Bushwhackers down and say they're Bayou Gremlins and as long as both players are clear on what's what it's fine. For a tournament if you edit the model in some way like you're saying, you can call that a conversion, it just needs to be clear that it's a] no longer the original model and b] the new model instead. For what it's worth, a couple of the Bayou Gremlins have hats that are a separate piece that's swappable. It's not a huge conversion but it's a very simple way to distinguish them.
Omenbringer
Weapon swaps, accessories, and basing is what I have utilized most to distinguish my horde of Bayou Gremlins (16 and counting currently). Another potential option is to wait with baited breath for the Multi-part TtB Gremlin model that Nathan (the man in the know) hinted at a bit ago. I think that will be a very popular set if the scale is maintained.
Gremlin66
Thanks for all the replies. The Alt one I did get my hands on. The head swap is also a possibility. A clip here and a bit of filing is another. The TtB is what I'm sure we all want but that is still in the works. Thanks again for the replies. Gremlin66
Finally. Sorry I had to do it in individual posts.
Eclipse
I think the conversions went well, and they were probably a lot of fun, too. Ahem, so I've been thinking of getting Mah's box and I don't really need three Bushwhackers, but some simple Bayou Gremlins would be very welcome...
