Boomstick
My main opponents and I often comment that one of the many games built into Malifaux is how to not use your master's AP to walk (like a savage). I quite enjoy using Gracie with a saddle as a master taxi, or a piglet's truffles ability. Or for built in master non-walks, there's always Ramos' magnetism, Mei Feng's railwalk, or Brewmaster's one for the road. What's your favorite way to have a sophisticated, non-walking master? Dogmantra
I'm a fan of pushing Som'er around by attacking him with bayou gremlins with a Skeeter giving out masks, so the bayou gremlins get to push too (if they hit)
Gnomezilla
I started Malifaux with Hoffman, and so still haven't quite internalized that masters even GET walk actions, let alone charges. (Which is making trying to learn another playstyle an interesting exercise, let me tell you.) Use 1 AP to make a walk 4 construct mask-push 2, walk 4, push/drag Hoffman 5ish, then tesselating-magnet-push 2ish to the doublewalked walk 4 construct in front of the line...leading to a massive traffic jam on turn 2 since our boards tend not to have consistent 80mm or wider lanes, but for the first turn it works great!
