Do these Actions/Abilities need to adhere to the restrictions listed on the Upgrade, or can they be attached to any model? A: Upgrade restrictions only affect the hiring process, and have no in game effect, so these Upgrades may be attached to any model. If there are any restrictions they will be noted in the Action or Ability’s description. Ludvig Posted April 7, 2016 Report Share Posted April 7, 2016 I often use SS on it or stone for cards until I get a few tomes. I hadn't considered the upgrade restrictions, I have some hazy recollection of a discussion where it seemed like the restrictions are only in effect while starting the game since I think there are a few other models who attach upgrades during the game that don't have the "ignore usual restrictions" clause but I will have to take another look at where I got that from.
