shahryar
This is probably the dumbest question in the world considering I seem to read nothing but bad things about them but....Do I need all three? I assembled two and starting on the head dress one and I am tempted to just bag it for now and start basing my mah tucket box instead so I can play them all sooner. So would two bushwackers be enough really? I really only own ophelia's box, mah's box, merris, sammy, and soon the wong box.I do really want to give them a try though as at least so I have some variation in my crew makeup XDIt is really sad the game is really taking off at my game store....and everyone is playing gremlins(so far it looks like mostly som'er though XD
Brewmaster
For my personal preferences, two should be fine (As a reference I generally play Ophelia, Zoraida, and Wong). I like the positioning options that Bushwhackers give, an option you don't generally get with the hyper-optimized Bayou Gremlins and Slop Haulers. Necromancy
It is really sad the game is really taking off at my game store....and everyone is playing gremlins(so far it looks like mostly som'er though XDI think Neverborn are gonna be in the lead.So far as I know, as of now:Tim: GremlinsYou: GremlinsNelson: Swamp Hag (Not sure which faction)Van Hellsing: NeverbornCaleb: NeverbornDirk: NeverbornAnthony: GuildManny: GuildStephen: 10 ThundersMe: ResurrectionistsRob: ArcanistsEither way, it's awesome to see how this game went from nobody playing it, to lots of people playing it practically overnight. And I know numerous people on that list (myself included) who are already thinking about what our second and third factions are gonna be. (10 Thunders for me)
Dogmantra
One or two is normally enough. It's a niche use for sure, but they're rather nice when Assassinate is in the pool versus a master with few wounds, it forces them to stay completely out of LoS rather than just grabbing some cover. Omenbringer
I would agree that 2 is probably the most you would want to hire. Hiring a third one would compete with two normal Bayou Gremlin's that can be used for triggering the Bushwhacker's Boost Their Confidence ability. Only hiring one, limits the potential of that ability, since that one Bushwhacker would have to shoulder the entire brunt of damage (meaning only 2 instances per turn if a Slop Hauler can heal them consistently turn after turn). Additionally, feeding the Bushwhacker's control card addiction can be difficult in a lot of crews.

Clockwork_Fish
With Mah Tucket I probably wouldn't take more than one. Mah is a card-sucking vampire, and the more "discard a card to do X" abilities you have, the worse it's going to be for you.
