Necromancy

I bought a griffon from WarmaHordes to represent the Carrion Emissary for Ressers. ...but apparently our store has a brutal "No proxies in Tournaments under any circumstances" rule...

I think Neverborn are gonna be in the lead. So far as I know, as of now: Tim: Gremlins You: Gremlins Nelson: Swamp Hag (Not sure which faction) Van Hellsing: Neverborn Caleb: Neverborn Dirk: Neverborn Anthony: Guild Manny: Guild Stephen: 10 Thunders Me: Resurrectionists Rob: Arcanists Either way, it's awesome to see how this game went from nobody playing it, to lots of people playing it practically overnight. And I know numerous people on that list (myself included) who are already thinking about what our second and third factions are gonna be. (10 Thunders for me)

We have a new group of people starting up Malifaux and there has been some debate over how the symbols in duel totals are added up. For example, and ability that says "The target receives Poison +1 for each Crow in the Duel total." One theory is that you count up all of the crows you flip over and add that to any natural crows or the crow from a SS (if used). For example, I flip 3 of crows, 8 of crows, and 6 of rams. I've got one natural crow, and used a SS for a crow. So, according to this theory, that would result in 4 crows (2 flipped, +1 for the natural, +1 for the SS) My personal theory is that you only count the card you chose, which in this case would be the 8 of crows, giving me 3 total. (Ignoring the 3 of crows I didn't use). Yet another theory is that in addition to the crows from your total, you also include any crows the opponent flips since their results are part of the duel, hence part of the duel total. Which of these is it? Thank you.

I'm just now getting into the game, but I'll probably be playing at Critical Hit starting in Mid-December once I get a few more of the things I ordered.

Hello! I'm usually a big fan of Necromancy, so when I saw the Resurrectionists faction, it was total love at first sight. Nicodem's Necromancy called out to me, so his box was my first purchase. *Note that I say "first" purchase, because I quickly figured out that I'd need a lot more to use him properly. So I also have a McMourn Box, more Canines, Shambling Zombies, Crooligans, Belles, and Izamu on the way. This got expensive fast and I haven't even played my first game yet. >.<
