The quote from the card is: Quote These Markers cannot be placed over any other Markers or models. The important words there I think are 'over' and 'other'. 1. Over not being the same as 'into base contact', apparently means you can place the Tree Markers into base contact with anything, but not overlapping or covering 2. There are many double-marker actions that may not be placed in contact with any other markers but need to touch each other so you should be fine overlapping the two tree markers.
