trent
Hi everyone, after I got kicked out at the IP in round 3 I decided to show you all a little bit more of my stuff from this freaking little town somewhere in reallity. At the moment Malifaux is my main system I'm playing besides Warmachine/Hordes. I like the difference in this setting very much and enjoy the the possibility to win a game while your whole crew gets whipped off the table. My focus lies on the little bodgers from the Bayou, Ten Thunders and Arcanists, but I also got the Dreamer and Leveticus in the rack for the next year. I started to paint my Gremlins last Winter while joining a little painting project in a greman forum. There you have to get a certain amount of miniatures painted in a month to reach the next round. It helps the slower and lazier people to get their stuff painted and is always lots of fun. After the Brewmaster hit the stores I got my Crew box and am still working on it. The bases need the most of the time cause of the grass and the swamp. Also I'm thinking about painting the Golem. I like the transparence look, but I think it might fit better to the whole image if it's painted. Besides the Gremlins I already got the Railcrew. This was my first crew and brought me to the game. I love Mei Feng's play style. http://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/community/gallery/image/5674-oiran1/ http://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/community/gallery/image/5672-heavy-metal/ My last master is Marcus at the moment and I'm still working on the crewbox. I try only to play with a completely painted crew because I don't like the look of unpainted models just put on the base. In my experience these models don't get some colors in the next time and sometimes it takes about years to paint the mini. http://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/community/gallery/image/5677-marcus/ http://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/community/gallery/image/5676-miranda-moleman2/ http://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/community/gallery/image/5675-jackalope-moleman1/ I will show you more when Brewi is done.
Otylia
I think you did a great job across the board. On the gremlins, it's always nice to see someone do something apart from green on their skin And I love the green discoloration on the wood (I think it came across particularly well on the pigapult) - brings a great touch of realism to the models. The free hand on Oiran's cloak is quite nice as well!

Antebellum
Really nice stuff! Great freehand work, and I like the look of non-green gremlins. I think on the golem, just paint the gremlins to start, and see how that looks, then maybe add some shading and shadows in certain areas that might need it. trent
Hi erveryone. Long time no activity. First of all, thank you very much for your nice comments on the stuff. I appreciate that. After some weeks without any time for painting a miniature I managed to finish two of my long time projects. I took me about half a year to finish my first Sabertooth Cerberus and my Hoarcat Pride. I liked the idea of a snow leopard pattern on the big cat, but the muse wasn't there for me for a long time. But here it is!I like the models of the Pride very much and wasn't satisfied with the idea only to put them on a base. So I started to build a small cave for one of them and there were some branches lying around here. And everybody knows that cats love to climb on trees... But for the begining a small tree will do it.
