Bloodrush
Hey guys just a quick question about the Bravado ability. If I discard a card with Bravado for Cast-offs and pass on an upgrade, do I still get to draw a card even though I no longer have the upgrade attached after resolving.. I'm thinking yes as the upgrade is attached at the time Bravado takes place but I am a little unsure. If someone could clear that up for me that would be appreciated. Cheers
Dirial
I think so. If the Wastrel wouldn't get a card, Bravado's wording would be something like "After resolving the action, draw a card if this model has an Upgrade attached."
Bloodrush
Yeah true. I guess I'd just never noticed that little trick until now. Thanks
MasterDisaster
Here's the wording on Bravado "Bravado: When this model declares an Action that will cause a duel, it may discard a card to add any suit to the final duel total of the Action. If this model has an Upgrade attached, draw a card after resolving the Action." Technically the Wastrel has an upgrade attached when using the the ability, it loses the upgrade by using Castoffs but it's already met the criteria of Bravado before the action was resolved so I'd also agree it gets to draw a card. trikk
It would be "If the model has an upgrade after resolving the action, draw a card" if it disallowed giving away upgrades IMHO.
zFiend
I agree. You get the card.
Bloodrush
Well Wastrels certainly got a little better in my book now.. good to know.
Dirial
Also remember that the can port with Cast-offs and then walk even if they cast off the Badge of speed. They have the AP by then, because those are generated at the beginning of the activation.

Dirial
Guild is not Tricky Guild is Critical Strikey! True. Well, I really want to like Wastrels. They are a subtle model in Guild, and that gives me joy. Sadly, they also have some serious shortcomings...
trikk
They seem pretty McCabe-or-nothing. I`m waiting with mine. They are next after Lucius (Lucius, Lawyer and Scribe) and Lady J box (2 Marshals to go) But I`ll give them a go. The Clockwork Orange feel is too much
Dirial
I like to play one with Lucius and Santiago, just for the heal. Once they start having an impact though, they just die. Sad times.
zFiend
they just die. Sad times. Good times. Then they get to fulfill the only purpose Guild has. Being an Guild Autopsy.
