It would be useful, and interesting, to me. The companion app is Android only (and I don't have an Android device), and the Crew Creator just lists a list of models one can take for the remaining stones without giving any other details. If you start a 50ss crew list and have all 50ss remaining it tells you an entire list of mercs because at that point you can hire any one of them. If you want their details you'll need to download the M2E Wave 2 cards from the Downloads section or take a look a the rulebook or appropriate arsenal deck. The crew creator will list the mercenaries that your master can hire seperatly, although it woun't include in faction mercs (as they will be in the faction I assume) and will include other out of faction hiring (and restrictions, such as Lazarus not workign with guild). But it would be so much easier to pull up a website, or app, and a couple of clicks later, have a list of all Mercenaries, with what faction they're from, their hiring costs, etc, etc. No one is saying one can't do it now, just that it would be nice to have a way to do this kind of thing that doesn't require having to pull together and cross-reference information from at least two different sources. If you want the non Outcast mercs just pick an Outcasts master and all the non-outcast mercs will be listed. Beyond that a little research and some Google time should get you were you need to go. Have you actually looked at them? They are really good scheme pieces. With Don't Mind Me they can interact while engaged and they can blow up enemy scheme markers at range. Not to mention having a quasi-lure(shorter range) with better triggers (damage or paralyse). They can find they place in a surprising number of crews.
