Can you talk about the shenanigans used? Tara is my next purchase for Ressers

First thing I got when I started Kirai was Izamu. Then Hanged, Belles (seamus box) and flesh construct. I am proxying Shikome, Night Terrors, Gaki and DatsueBa. Dtasue Ba is coming out soon with 3 more Sheishin.

I just wish they released the damn things/spirits already!

I have been perusing the titles of the Topics and see alot of "Help vs Lilith" "Help vs shooty Guild", "Help vs Collodi", "help vs Misaki..:" etc... and really not that much "Help vs Ressers" Are the Ressers an "easy" faction for The Guild? I guess Sonnia blasting everything is good against anything... or Perdita Shooting...

Other thing I realized. Onryo's can give Adversary on a Ca with no pistol, that means that you can have a spirit like izamu on a combat, Cast the onryo thing to the enemy in combat and if you are successful Izamu will have the bonus of the adversary. But that is only useful if you go the spirit way with Kirai or Molly.

Onryo is a good melee minion, with some shooting if yu have too and gives adversary and poison wich is great to things like Shikome and ikyrio and Izamu etc.

Me too. Ok...It's a Mac thing. In acrobat reader it's fine, but When i open it on Preview App or on Goodreads(iPad App) the background doesn't show. Maybe it's something in the original file that is not compatible with some readers? An svg or a kind of shape or Photoshop effect? I'll try it on the iPad on another app to see what happens.

Maybe it's lack of seeing it on the table I guess. Master and henchman making it fire out of turn and the canceling 0 actions and canceling moves... suddenly it felt a bit ...big.

1 - You can cancel 0 actions 2 - You can cancel pushes and Lures to ANY friendly in 3" not just itself 3 - Henchmans AND Master can make it use 1 Ap 4 - Can also give burning Yes it can explode spectacularly... If you have shooting he won't stand up long, but rezers aren't prone to shooting much. If you have 3 or these guys they can cover alot of friendlys and cut the lure completely and cut alot of your 0 actions if cards are on their side. Belles are good for the lure, otherwise not that awesome Just that. I'm not really ranting so don't misunderstand me.

Is it me or a non rare, 5ss Minion Guild's Santioned Spellcaster is a bit OP? At least against Rezers...

Yep. I guess its the model in itself, i dont get THE vibe from them, the same with mcmourning... I guess its just a matter os personal taste. And yes, i got the university box so i could have some combat stuff. but thats it, it's just personal. I think I like other concepts best. The same with the mindless zombies... Don't feel like getting them... With guild for instances I hate the executioners. Well done models but hate the concept. But hey thank you all for your input that's what I was after.

And for those without Datsue Ba... wich henchman would be great to start with? I only have Sybelle and Valedictorian really

I believe you lol, What I don't like are the models/concept... punks? in victorian age? Well I know it's fantasy and you can justify anything lol but it doesn't fit my notion of victorian steampunk... with katanas??? Punks? with katanas?... Too Wyrd (katching!) even for me. Maybe they came from the future... Nicodem...such a great concept and model... PUNKS????!!! But I believe they are great minions.

Yep Like I told you I already own stuff That was not the issue in question. I don't like Nicodem playstyle mostly because I don't like the punk zombies concept... I don't think I am ever going to get them. The same goes for McMourning, don't like the style. I'm only probably getting the nurses because they seam real good, but even so...I don't like the concept, cool looking models... but... I have Kirai, Molly and Seamus, Flesh construct, University box, izamu, And I wanted all the tormented and spirits... but i'm afraid they are not out yet... I think next is Tara so I can take a step to Outcasts and use the tormented on jack daw

Yep... I guess I have to try Molly on "regular" Points games. No biggie

I do have more models but that's not the point I'm trying to make or the question in issue. I also think that crew boxes and "legal" crews are different things when you are starting. Even not being legal I can surely use the Kirai box for a game or two to get a feel of the game. Seamus box is quite competent as are others. Crew box games I dont believe are intended to use points, they are just there to get you to the game. When I first started I even realized you needed more then just the box but it was ok for some startup games. That's why I was asking about the Molly box because it's one of those I feel lacks something. Of course, it's great to try scheme running so maybe each master has it's own crew box specialty, hence Molly being more focused on schemes, but if Kirai box is already streaching it, Mollys bow while point wise is more then Kirai lacks really something to be playable in a startup game. So i guess it's out of the question to play the box as a startup crew.

Is it really playable as it is? I have alot of new players starting Malifaux and while I am an ok collection already of rezer models I never tried Molly yet. But because the new players only have crew boxes I wanted to keep things simple. Why not trying Molly? I thought. Is it playable? I have some spirits or horrors (transmortis) to summon so that's not the issue, I also have Sybelle, Belles etc, but the thing is, starter box... i somewhat feel it's a bit underpowered? Phillip looks cool...but... Crooligans are nice but no killers. So do I have to support myself on the summonings? Cheers

Replace...well... you don't really replace when your also thinning your force wounds wise. I believe only Nicomed is like a mass summoner? Summoning for Kirai is hard and I believe Molly also? Seamus doesn't summon that much I also believe... Maybe i'm wrong...

The death marshals are usable in Ressers right?

Yep As a whole I am finding that there aren't many really versatile minions in ressers like in other factions. If you have great minions for schemes they usually are weak on the combat side. If they are good combatants usually they are Melee focused. Even Enforcers are more focused, not like the Peacekeeper that is resilient, good in combat and has scheme markers mechanics. Last game I suddenly realized I was playing with Belles, crooligans, flesh construct, Datsue ba...only real powerhouse was Izamu and when I looked at the other side... Witchling stalkers... Executioner...hunters...I thought...man I'm done for, all of those are good in combat, have range, and work with scheme markers... only focusing on strategy and schemes saved me, and only because I think my opponent didn't focused on them... And I am thinking... damn where is the balance? Control is fine but if you don't kill something you won't balance your own losses.

I haven't made that many games really and always played with noobs like me but there are a few things I already got. Really Really focus on schemes and strategy. It's really easy to loose focus and try to go for kills, but Kirai and Molly are not about kills per se. Still have to try Molly, but Kirai likes to keep things close usually, so it's great for things like protect territory, or plant evidence because iKyrio and spirits, for turf war, breakthrough (Ikyrio or sipirts again). But not so great with quarters or kill schemes I think. Last game I played I think I chose my master poorly and went for Kirai, but i focused on objectives and that handed me the game.

Finally another update. Yep I think Deluge got it... I don't think I need to change anything I think it's looking good.

I agree. Your vids keep improving and are great to watch. I found myself expecting them more and more
