  1. Sand Worm can make Dust Clouds within 4 not leave at the end of the current turn. This ability is much better, and it's a built in suit... but it is once per Turn, so only 5 a game unless you can mimic it somehow.
  2. Oh, interesting concept.... if somehow Stitched had acquired Hard To Wound, it would be a negative flip.
  3. Honestly I'd rather have 2 more Soul Stones or an upgrade than a Bayou Gremlin. Gracie & Burt are an acquired taste... they work well with some people, others don't like them; it comes down to your play style.
  4. Highlander Rules ("There can be only one!"). That's super hard mode! I think we used to do that with MtG & L5R back in the day.
  5. It wouldn't be double negative because that would signify a tie... but it's not a tie, it's a failure. I would rule straight flip, which means you can cheat it down.
  6. The Gator & Gluttony are a little extra, unless there's something specific you're using them for in the strategy or schemes... or against a particular opponent. You've already got a lot of killing power, might want to do some more fast stuff like Flying Piglets or another Iron Skeeter.... but I'm not the end all be all of Infamous, play it as is and see what you like!
  7. The action ignores concealing, it does not remove concealing from another model. You're going to be looking for an ironclad rule that doesn't exist because you're interpreting the effect incorrectly.
  8. Welcome to the swamp, hope you survive the experience! Average model count for the game as a whole is 6-9, Bayou run on the higher end since a lot of the smaller models cost way less; Big Hat is A LOT of smaller models so they're gonna run probably 9-12 models plus So'mer keeps summoning more. I wouldn't recommend starting with them, but it's what they call "high entry level" skill wise: You don't get the hang of how it works for a while.... but once it clicks you'll be neigh unstoppable. Infamous is very easy to learn, but has a lot of moving parts. You'll pick it up quick, you'll start winning quicker, but it's gonna take 10-15 games before you realize how all the little things synergize and then you shift into a whole new gear and also become neigh unstoppable. Long story short: start with any faction, any keyword, any crew, work at it, and eventually you will be neigh unstoppable!
  9. Makes that easy as all Sz 4 models are on 50mm bases. However, Bayou has an upgrade that increases Sz by 1 & Explorer's Society has the Bellhop Porter (but it's only during their turn, so more limiting).
  10. Oh, the marker is concealing; I thought it was an aura of concealing. So yeah, no one gets concealing or the other stuff.
  11. Is it worth it to turn a Hopeful Prospect into an additional Runaway after one of the original die/Escape?
  12. So walking a Whiskey Golem onto a Lamp marker gives the Golem Concealing but blocks all other effects from occurring?
  13. As long as your have enough movement to fully clear the chasm and your path does not exit the Alpinist's aura until it's on the other side. Bitchy terrain move to make a chasm wide enough to fit 30mm & 40mm bases, but 50mm one can just walk over.
  14. I only play Tri-Chi & Infamous, and while that would be amazing vs Brewmaster, I cannot see much use against the sky pirates and they have the easiest time removing Lamps.
  15. So with the ease Bayou can get rid of Lamps, do you just not declare Seeker into Bayou, or can you function without the Lamps fine?
  16. The Sister keyword was so much better than the Mercenary keyword is. Both Vik's, Vanessa, Taelor, & The Student of Conflict had the Sister keyword, and there were 5 different things that affected "only Sisters"; now there's one effect that is "only Mercenary" & an ability that only effects Vik, Vik, & Vanessa.
  17. The only use of the keyword "Mercenary" is the"That One Counts As Mine" trigger, which makes The Midnight Stalker doubly sad.
  18. I don't know... that 3rd edition sculpt says a lot!
  19. Having 1 model that shutdowns multiple keywords is bad; having it in the same faction as one of the 2 Gravity Wells in the game is crippling.
  20. The problem with the former is it also punishes flying & leaping models, while the later one specifically target's Family, Elite, Swampfiend, & Sooey, among others.
  21. I only pick her against normal summoners, where she performs exceptional (I cannot wait to see how she performs against Umbra models). She is a tech piece.... albeit a very expensive tech piece, but a tech piece none the less. If you're not facing summoners, just take Johan(a) instead: flurry, same hammer damage track, remove conditions on other people.
  22. Make them all Versatile and spread them around the keyword some more and I think you've just made the new Resser starter box: Wendy is a Revenant Enforcer, she heals only undead minions who are under half health. Lost Brothers are Plentiful 2 Fae Minions who make existing terrain pieces Hazardous (Slow). Peter is a flying Forgotten Henchman you don't have to discard a card to By Your Side to, & that Dust token flying bit.
