  4. Nothing stops you from playing different factions in different games dude!! Yes, you can't use 2 masters in one game, but that's normal for malifaux.

  6. I did not realise you were considering declared faction tournaments, If that is the case, then yes, my suggestion is pointless. In that case, take McCabe and Lynch
  7. Levi can bounce around and do those schemes that Hoffman sometimes has problems with if you are a big "hoffball" fan, and Hoff can provide a great master for "bunched up" schemes or strats. Levi can hire everything in the Hoff crew, and if you expand the hoff crew with more constructs, levi can use them as well. Basically, you can have a small core of construct models, 1 or two non construct models from each faction for flavour and the masters. 15-20 models tops and you can do damn near anything you want.
  8. So, people feel that the illuminated, given there innate survivability make waltgeists a sub par choice for the 6 stones? You would rather pay the 1 more for a beckoner, or another Illuminated for hitting or versatility, or perhaps a tot or wretch for less as a dedicated scheme runner?

  10. You would just be limited to Snipers, archers and Samurai AP This actually brings up a side question I have been wondering about campaign play. Can no one play Lynch as his go-to henchman is also his Totem? Are there rules for having Huggy as a leader in a HH game, or is he not legal?

  13. Simple question for anyone who has tried it. Are they any good for him? Having mobile terrain pieces for a melee crew seems theoretically good, but you miss out on all the lovely Brilliance tricks. Thoughts?

Nono dude, I meant you already have 3 cards that allow you to make a minion a carnie, and the only upgrade I can think of that allows the giving of a condition like that is the Sisters upgrade that you have to chuck to be counted as a sister. There are thing's like Tara's changing DM's to Undead, but that does generally not have other triggers involved. I did not mean you had ways to make enforcers or henchies carnies, and I thought that was a conscious decision on your folks part?
  16. I would be very leery of changing the crossroads models to gain the carny status. As it stands, you have 3 ways to do it with upgrades (something no other crew can do) and -I- feel that is enough, but sure, try it out. What may make good sense however is a 1SS upgrade that allows you to hire up to 4 of the band without having to pay the merc tax, Get The Band Back Togeather, or something along those lines.
  17. yeah Git, 12 is a good average (wp basically evens out at 5 making a 7 flip around average in the card spread of a deck) 13 pushes it up to above average, but not massively so (where your previous max of 15 makes it -really- tough).
  18. I have been wondering the same thing Kalkris, they seem like a natural pairing to have the band I don't know what the 7 are like however.
