For example, say The Valedictorian with an attached upgrade of Academic Zeal kills Lucas McCabe, Mounted. Lucas would Replace with his unmounted form and then place a Corpse marker in contact with itself. Could The Valedictorian still summon a new Transmortis model and place it in contact with Lucas? And if so would that prevent the Corpse marker from being placed next to Lucas? Or would that not be affected because that direction to place the marker happens after the killed model has been removed from play?

Can the Union Steamfitter give Armor +1 to Carlos Vasquez? If he has Burning, he counts as having Armor as well, and the Steamfitter can only give Armor +1 to someone without Armor. Could the Union Steamfitter give Carlos Armor +1 if he isn't Burning? And if so, would he then go to Armor +3 once he gets Burning +2 or higher?

Saying M2E isn't "officially" out till February is kind of a really poor answer. The books are out. The Arsenal decks are out. These forums are all about 2E with one small segment at the bottom dedicated to 1.5. Clearly the message is move on, 2E is where the game is currently at. I'm just glad I was able to get a copy of the book witout ever knowing about these shortages or whatnot.

I dunno if its just me, but the option to link the list to a URL doesn't seem to work. When I cut and paste that link it doesn't bring up the crew I had created.

Any estimation at what the Crew Sizes will be in the events? From the 2013 docs looks like everything was 35 Soul Stones?

There is really nothing to stop you from playing however you wish, but the rules are written assuming a 3x3 playing field is in use. I suspect it is to remain consistent for schemes and such that have geographic elements (controlling table quarters, midline, etc.) If the table is too big, those kinds of games could quickly become lopsided or downright boring, etc.

I am doing an am event that ends around 3, is that ok to still sign up for cake?

Wouldn't a simpler solution for your specific situation be to just skip having to declare Faction?

Unless it has yet to be added, there doesn't appear to be a Malifaux event (other than the By Gaslight league) on Sunday apart from the single elimination Championships, or a Thursday event.

You could look at it that way, I really see it as a one day event and the Sunday is a championship round. You will note you don't actually sign up/pay extra for Sunday. Assuming it is the same as 2013, you are still getting a 5 round tournament. Also remember that Malifaux is running its By Gaslight Achievement league as an all-weekend event... so you presumably still have ample opportunities to play, no?

I am also a new Player, but looking at the Adepticon stuff, the Sunday portion will likely be just for the top players of the Saturday portion. So you aren't likely eligible for Sunday at all unless you are in like the top of the heap Saturday.
