Was afraid that might be so Also heard some companies refuse to do business with Maelstrom Games anymore because of payment issues. Don't think Wyrd is on that list, though, as I did get other Malifaux stuff I ordered through Maelstrom.

'Glad' to hear I am not the only one. Hope you will get a reply from MG, as I havn't got any on ~10 mails. Was too late for a PayPal refund, as that only works up to 45 days after the payment. There's a thread on Dakka Dakka forums about Maelstrom taking the biscuit here. It's linked to page 19, that's up to where I have read the thread

I have ordered the Retro Fate Deck some two months ago through Maelstrom Games. It has been listed as 'out of stock at supplyer' a week or so after I ordered it. It's still listed that way. Wondering if it's really out of stock at Wyrd. Beginning to feel I can forget ever getting my Lady Justice box set, 1.5 rulebook and retro fate deck with the rumours Maelstrom Games has high depts and is about to roll over and die.

Haha, cool to see my thread get this kind of response I'm afraid I can't be of much assistance at Spiel itself - apart from translating for Dutchies, but they tend to speak English and German pretty well. Did totally miss the small corner with a few Malifaux blisters. I was doubting getting the buildings from Wolsung, they looked nice. Same for the walkways. Ended up not getting them.

Thursday till Sunday was Spiel in Essen, Germany. It's a bit game con. I went there with a couple of friends, expecting to find Malifaux there. On the retailer list Wyrd wasn't listed - but there was bound to be at least one store that sells Malifaux, right? Happends that there wasn't. Battlefoam was there with Malifaux bags, but that was the closest it got. Was suprised to find another steampunk miniature game named Godforged. Never heard of it, but there was a pretty large stand with people dressed up steampunk fashion. Sad not to find Malifaux there. But I got home with the largest part of my budget intact, so that's a plus Anyways, just wanted to vent that here. Kinda expected Malifaux to be at the larger cons.

Waiting for two months now for my oder at Maelstrom Games. They are not replying to my mails to give me my money back. Have Justice box, poker style fate deck and 1,5 rulebook ordered. Am really sad

Looking nice for a first time paint job! Next step would be to try using a wash on the model, and then repainting the large surfaces with the base colour, leaving the darker wash in the recesses. This strengthens the shadows on the model, so the details pop out more. Again, they look great!

Nice battle report! The game is quite complex, so it's easy to miss things the first game. Given you take the time to paint a crew, get the 10T crew and keep playing Levi till it's finished up

To be honest I am not a great fan of just the head as a prize. Wouldn't it be more fitting to make the base more interesting? Something like this model has, but then with the bear head, ofcourse! The bear claw would be a nice reward to the player who has earned 'the right to bear arms'
