  1. I use "How to make wargames terrain" by Games Workshop, it's a book but it has everything and is really helpful. I've been using it for years and have made some awesome stuff.
  2. Breach rends open the Earth Fate twisted and death cheated Welcome to our world Multiverse collide Trains, cowboys, samur-oh my! Steampunk dead will rise A line in the sand they said that death was evil so I brought back death -resser master Strategies and schemes for a game with many themes Fight for every street Safe from the undead Big brother Guild watches you Gunlines scream the truth Flip rams and tip cows Crit strike on the farmer's wife Arcanist - not sheep Lure with rotten belle Undress, distract to hook them flintlock finishes -how tonplay Seamus Seamus or shame-us Only Irish know the way Accents cannot spell
  3. Looks good to me but I would definitely pick up Avatar Seamus as well. The avatar is really great especially if you also have molly as she can rez belles while aSeamus does some heavy hitting. Great choice for competition and obviously fits perfectly with the theme because he's still Seamus.
  4. When Seamus manifests ALL friendly models become terrifying – including belles, so you really don't need to gear your entire lists toward terrifying creatures if Seamus is going to manifest anyways.
  5. Thanks so much! This tactica is super helpful as I'm just starting Malifaux and am running Seamus. Please update with some of the newer models though if you ever have the chance and include the Avatar of Dread. I came across this randomly through a google search despite using these forums a lot for the past few days, it would be really helpful is this could be stickied but I guess I'm doing my part by bumping it.
  6. I haven't played The Dreamer before but from what I hear he is pretty difficult to learn the game with. I'd recommend the dude in the top hat (Seamus) as he is very easy to learn the game with, is still pretty competitive, and comes with a great box set full of models that you will always want to use.
  7. Looks awesome! Is the ancient monument from WH:LotR?
  8. Just use Old English, Malifaux is occupied by Americans in both 1776 and 1876 (excluding the neverborn of course)
  9. User: Vagabond State: Georgia City: Suwanee Game stores: Tower Game Center (www.thetowergamecenter.com/)
  10. I'll definitely go with Lady J then Thanks so much for helping me out!
  11. Actually there's a board game called Mage Knight which is a good deal more complicated with chess and there's an app where your iphone will play against you, telling you where to move the pieces, etc.
  12. I'm trying to get a lot of my friends into Malifaux and wanted to get a second crew's starter box so that I can demo the game to them and possibly even become a henchman. I want to use only the starter box contents for each crew (I already have Seamus) so that they know they can pick up everything from that game for just 30$. I'm just looking for any other crew that plays a good, well-balanced match against Seamus out of the box that is also easy for beginners to pick up and understand (so no walls of text on the cards, please). Thanks in advance for your suggestions! UPDATE: Chose Lady J
  13. Completely forgot to mention that but yes definitely pick up some Night Terrors they can tear across the board like nothing else
  14. Sorry new player here so I have to ask - can you cheat a damage flip? I was under the impression that you couldn't and it could change a lot to be able to. Sounds like an intense battle though! Ressers forever!
