Every interview with Wyrd that mentioned University of Transmortis stated that it will contain cards For 1.5 and 2nd edition. I don’t know if it counts as official statement, but there hasn’t been anything to contradict this. In the very least there should have been some sort of warning that 1.5 cards will not be included. Using them with Molly in 1.5 was a big buying point for some people.

I got. University of Transmortis, Beckoners, Gracie, Wong, Terror Tots, and couple of Bushido miniatures.

2nd Rail Worker.

I pre ordered this before I knew there would be no 1.5 cards in it. But the miniatures are some of the most intricate yet. I will enjoy painting them. Didn’t expect much from the booklet, but letters to Molly are nice. It’s a shame there was no artwork of the student of sinew in the booklet. Cards don’t show full artwork anymore.

Thank you Eric, but I think you misunderstood the question. I am not affiliated with Malifaux classic project. My thread was hijack by people talking about it but I prefer Malifaux 1.5 The reason I asked you What is your opinion of people who intend to stay with Malifaux 1.5 ? is because for about a month I felt very unwelcome on this forum. Some very zealous supporters of M2E mock, bully, and demonise people who are worried about Malifaux 1.5 losing support . It’s like they trying to drive us away, and I don’t think it’s in Wyrd’s interest. The last thing you want is for people to rage damp their collections on Ebay. Just look at the very first reply to my Public question to Eric J thread. This was rude offensive and uncalled for. This is what creates negativity. Do you really want people like that to answer on behalf of your company. I now you are very busy with Gen Con but some sort of peace should be kept these boards. I find comments like Shut up and leave very disheartening, and I don’t like to be called rage quitter. I have no intention of quitting. I want to carry on collecting and painting Wyrd Miniatures, and playing Malifaux 1.5 and I would really appreciate if new miniatures like Brew Master and Iron Zombies could be made Malifaux 1.5 compatible either by Wyrd or by the community. Pathfinder was RPG which competed with wizard's own books. Malifaux classic would stop a lot of Wyrd's existing customers quitting, increasing the sales of their miniatures. What could hurt Wyrd thou, if people start damping their collections on E-bay. And a lot of people who embrace M2E prefer old metals, I know this because I've been a big advocate of Wyrd's new plastics.

What about warhammer skirmish. It was a fan made supplement which ended up being printed by Games Workshop.

It could be a pride thing.

There were a lot of grey area in copyright law before Games Workshop VS Chapter house case. Now there clear guidelines to produce parts compatible with Games Workshop miniatures, and sell them.

Eric I hate to bother you before Gen Con I know you’re really busy, but I really need to know this. What is your opinion of people who intend to stay with Malifaux 1.5

I listened to about 40 minutes of it and must admit it was very uncomfortable. One of the guy’s microphone was so loud it was unbearable. I turned the volume down, but then I could barely here the others. Will have to listen to the rest in small chunks. Guys you have to watch out for these things.

I don’t know if it’s relevant, but a game called Bushido (some of you may have heard of it). Had a big rules update earlier this year, all the stat cards got changed. And they chose to replaced everyone’s cards for free. I had nearly all miniatures released to that point, so it could have cost me.

Okay... Just want to add because of Malifaux 1.5 Wyrd can now afford producing plastic miniatures. Not bad for terrible/messed up/too complicated game.

Just because of that one comment you going to disregard everything else he said. That says a lot.

Malifaux will not end up as confrontation. Even with new emphasis on interactive actions, dropping counters, and swarm armies which really ruins the game for me. (I could pretty much forgive everything else.) It can’t be compared to changes that Rackham did to Confrontation. And that wasn’t even their biggest fault. Their biggest mistake was what they did to miniatures. Confrontation miniatures were the best miniatures on the market at that time. And they replaced them with dodgy bandy plastic prepaints. New Wyrd plastics are some of the best miniatures on the market, and I will still be buying them even if I don’t play M2E. That brought back some bad memories. People still play Confrontation 3.5 and I still own a big collection of the miniatures. Eight 1000pint armies. There’s no sign of Confrontation age of Ragnarock thou. No loss there.
