What's Proxying mean?

A few days ago I used Collodi as my first ever Malifaux game one of my problems was I kept forgetting his My Will gives a puppet two turns. Also I mighta misheard but I think his My Will increases with each use..?

So yesterday a Henchman let me use his Collodi set and I had a Guild effigy a Vile Bag.? (Oogie Boogie parody thing) and of course the absolute four Marionettes. I had two upgrades and while he went easy on me I had a lot of fun and totally wrecked. I made a lot of misplays but he said he wasn't taking anything seriously so he let me win sorta lol. I accidently thought masters had high SS cost and gunned for Von Schill but he let me take points for killing him. I only attacked with Col once but that failed. It was a ton of fun and Thursday they host Malifaux nights. I wanna try Jacob Lynch but I already know how to play.. I guess it might be a bit asking too much to ask a Henchmen to let me sample a Master... Still while I played as Collodi I still can't decide whether to buy him or Lynch(AAnd have him be Neverborn focused.) I hope this Christmas I can get a starter set.

I was wondering if anyone would want to roleplay Malifaux with me as OCs or canon chars on Yahoo. Skype. or Facebook with me? I love Malifaux's setting and would be ecstatic to roleplay it with someone.

Only Guild I like is Predita I can be her.

I was wondering does anyone know anything about the Dark Debts set? He's not on the site in Outcast or as a Neverborn so I don't know anything about his play style or personality. Anyone played him?

Rats guessed I missed you >.< But what chars are updated for V2? I like Colette but she is not the only figurine I wanna be I'd love to try Dark Debts but have no idea about him, if Kairi was it? The lady with the spirits of vengeances if she is V2 updated I'd love to try her out.

I plan to be Collette I like Burlesque and mages. Also should I download the Arcanist stat cards?

I do wish I would have realized that before I downloaded it then again I suppose I could download the rule book and find the stat cards online?

Due to me not having money for Malifaux figurines I downloaded the vassel and Malifaux modules I have never played with either and was wondering if anyone be willing to teach me how to play?

I could but I have a serious lack of grammar and punctuation(never grasped the concept) and I risk getting seriously flammed O.o

I mean a more generic roleplay where people could just post as their chars and so forth.

I'm surprised I've not seen a forum for roleplaying in the Malifaux setting I think it be a lot of fun to have Dreamer raze a town to the ground while the Guild scrambles to finish Lord Chompy Bits off. Or maybe Pandora has turned a unit of Guild minions into her slaves and is plotting the Guild's demise. So many plots and so little time lol wouldn't anyone roleplay it? I would love to be Collette in her Steampunk burlesque lounge.

Do I really have to? When I get two sets and paint the things and all that(I'd need lots of help lol is a newbie to wargames) I'd just play with my dad who is a bit slow but I might try and play with other gamers down the road.

I was planning on getting Collette and I plan to get more money however regardless of money its kinda hard to buy figurines as every store in my state that sells them is 2 hours away...

I certainly enjoy fluff(that is just for fun stuff right like plot and stuff?) And I only have 50$ cash.

I might possibly hopefully get some Malifaux figurines soon and I wanted to know some things. 1: Do I have to build all figures I buy or just the really big ones like Chompy Bits? 2: Um do I have to buy a rule book? On Average how much would it cost?

Sure I just listed the guys I liked best as they appeal to me and their Factions are a Anti Guild and for Neverborn Anti Humanity. Edit: I do like the Gunslinger from The Guild(only Guild member I like as I prefer Anti corrupt goverment crews lol) Also Collodi sounds fun but I think he's kinda an assistant Master?

I am going to be able to buy Malifaux starter kits with a job I hope to get and was wondering which of these crews that interest me should I get? Heres my play style in these sorta games. 1: I focus on ranged attacks 2: I like casting as much spells as possible 3: I'm a bit sadistic and is willing to use my chars as a shield to protect a stronger unit. 4: I tend to scatter my troops about. The crews I like are as followed. 1: Rasputina: I like her because she is an artic mage and I love ice. 2: Collette: I like her for her story and her infinite SS ability as well as her puppets. 3: Pandora: I like her cuz she is a sadistic killer and I like my villains to be really bad I also like she has psychic powers. 4: Nicodem: I like him cuz he is the master of all necromancers and I love undead. 5: Kirai: I like her cuz she's somewhat of a tragic villain and she uses the damned souls to wreck her revenge. 6: Dreamer: I really only like him cuz he can use Daydreams. Edit: The stratagy I use is not all I do I don't mind if only Leader of party is ranged but I do only focus on spellcasting leaders and or ranged.
