  1. I want the two player starter and the Crossroads Seven. Any idea when they will be available from Wayland Games, in the UK? That's where I get my stuff from.
  2. It's not so much frustration. More, just a bit confused is all. As I said in my original post. I understand that Wyrd is a relatively new company and it takes time to get things flowing in a way, both customers and yourselves want it too. I also accept that good things come to those who wait and all that. I am a fan and while I may from time to time feel a little frustration at having to wait, I am also able to see that you guys are doing a great job with what, at times, must feel like an insurmountable task. I am just happy you exist at all, creating models and rules which are quite beyond expectations on a consistent bases. It's remarkable, to say the least. Thank you for the reply and I look forward to helping you get paid for many years to come.
  3. Any idea if there is a time frame? How long does it usually take to restock an item?
  4. I'm sure I'm missing something here, but I was looking at the web store and although I wouldn't be buying direct from the store, but through another web store based in the UK. I found it strange to see stuff that said sold out. Do they mean sold out or do they really mean out of stock? I really want the Victoria's boxed set, as the models are just beautiful, but it's sold out. Is it gone forever or will it be available again at some point in the future? If it is limited edition, then why is it still in the store? It seems a bit troll like, if that's the case. I understand that Wyrd is still a smallish company, so I'm willing to cut them some slack and be a lot more patient with them, than I would be with a more establish, long running company, but only if I know what is going on. Is it a case of "To bad, so sad. Shoulda got here sooner, shouldn't you?" Or simply stock issues? Thanks PS Anyone able to give me an estimated time frame for when I might be able to get a new plastic Jackdaw? Thanks again
  5. As a second crew, I was thinking of building the following. Lilith Barbaros Nekima Malifaux Cherub 3 Terror Tots 1 Mature Nephilim 1 Young Nephilim I'm new to Malifaux. Played a few practice games a couple years ago, but now want to get into it properly. This crew will mostly be used against Seamus, but hope that once I'm confident with the rules, I will get to use it against other crews. I have no idea how many SS this comes to, but this is what I really want to have in my crew. I know there is a second Young Nephilim in the Nephilim box, but I don't like that model and don't want to include it in my crew. Any tips on getting the best from the models I have listed above, other than telling me to go to pullmyfinger would be great. Thanks and take it sleazy.
  6. Oh! I do like teddies. Teddies AND rotting call girls? How can I resist? Why would I want to?
  7. Blame my childhood. I grew up on Hammer House of Horror movies, so Malifaux and Ressers in particular appeal to me because of that. I like Neverborn too, for the same reason, but Ressers more so.
  8. I expect I will buy all the boxed sets eventually and whatever else I like too. I like Ressers overall and want as many of the models as possible for the faction. The boxed sets will just be an easy way of getting most of them.
  9. So when I branch out from the 3 boxed sets I mentioned above. The Nicodem boxed set and Yin would be a good place to go?
  10. Cool, then that's what I will do. I will get them mostly to play Seamus, but will also give the other Masters a whirl from time to time, to see how they play.
  11. Theme is more important to me than effectiveness in game, but with that said, I don't want to hamstring myself in the process. I like McMorning too, as a Master. Love his whole Frankenstein vibe. My intent is to buy quite a view Resser Masters and use them against each other. Just thought Seamus first. I like Molly, but I also really like The Nurses and Flesh Construct too. Maybe I will leave Bête just now and just buy the 3 boxed sets along with the new rules. On that question. There is the Malifaux Second Edition Rulebook and there is something called the Malifaux 2.0 Rules Manual handbook. Will I need both to play?
  12. OK cool. I will do that. I've been reading good things about Molly and Sybelle working well together, so yeah! Will absolutely do that. Thanks. So using the Seamus box, the Molly box and Bete Noire, what would be a good starting crew?
  13. Hi guys, I'm kinda new. I played a few games a long time ago with Zoraida, but never got any further than the single crew box. With the updated rules and new awesome plastics, I really want to get back into the game and always had a soft spot for Seamus. What I intend to buy is, Shadows of Redchapel boxed set, Bete Noire and the Crooligans set. I have no idea if this will make a good crew, but it's what I like and what I want to paint. I have also got no idea of how much that is in SS or anything about the updated rules. My main criteria with this crew is to learn the game, properly this time, but also to have a crew that makes sense in the background. I picked the Crooligans because, as well as having a Jack the Ripper, Dr Jekyll\Mr Hyde feel to him, Seamus also has a bit of a Bill Sykes feel to him too. I picked Bete Noire mainly because she is a serial killer and think her and Seamus would have fun playing together. Whether any of that will make the crew better in game, I honestly couldn't say. So that's why I'm here asking you guys the following questions. Does this crew make sense, background wise? Could it do well in the game? Is there anything else I should add? Thank you for your time and see you on the other side.
  14. Ok, I got you now. I'm just learning the game really, so leagues are a bit further in the future right now. I just want a good overall crew that will help me learn as much as possible, while playing to a cool theme. Collodi + 4 marrionettes would be good, But I really like the wicked dolls too. The whole Collodi box looks awesome and will use it as a stand alone, But would also like to use it with Zoraida too. I also spotted Rami LaCroix and would like to include him in my crew sometimes.
  15. Are you both saying I should leave Zoraida at home and just take Collodi on his own?
  16. I bought the Zoraida boxed set and while I love the models, I am now being drawn to another box. That of Collodi. I noticed in the Crew builder, that Collodi can be Zoraida's Henchman and that she can have all his boxed set in her Crew. I also like Teddy and want him in my crew. The questions are. Is it a good idea to have Collodi as Zoraida's Henchman? I know the Wicked Dolls are a good add, But what about the Marrionettes and Teddy? Any advice in mixing these two boxed sets and Teddy would be great in a 35pt Crew. Thanks
  17. I know this wasn't ment for me, But thank you very much for posting it. It was indeed, pretty useful.
  18. I'm really liking the Leveticus angle. I might go with him as my second crew.
  19. Is there any rivalries/enemies in the Malifaux world, between crews? I'm particularly asking about Zoraida, But will welcome other rivalries/enemies too. Reason I'm asking is that I have Zoraida and she and her crew are done and I now want a second crew to use against her and would like it if they were natural enemies. Thanks
