  1. Made this a long while back but thought I'd share it with the rest of the community. Used it locally to help players get used to new schemes. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Fjth0OA_yxwd0J38Y5n-v8BrGB5g3RxWuwfAKuiFEWU
  2. This is correct and the intended purpose of the wording. It is a scheme which can score all in one turn if you do it right.
  3. The guys who play out of The Complex, where I ran this event, have recently created a photo page highlighting the fun we all enjoyed on the Malifaux Day! They created a special Malifaux Day photo page on their site. Check out Spectre Studios and The Complex if your in the Southern Maine area. Well worth the visit! http://www.spectrestudios.us/malifaux-day.html
  4. Yeah thought I'd be a good way to not stress people out with schedules of getting to store after work, etc. And since its the usual game night hoping it works.
  5. Added Tuesday April 12/26th Malifaux tourney at Adler Hobby, Manchester, NH to calendar.

  7. Just a reminder that we still have demos of Malifaux available in the New Hampshire area. Happy to coordinate time/place with people, but Tuesdays are still our usual meetup date at Milly's Tavern in Manchester, NH. P.S. Stay tuned as we'll be doing another "Demo Day / Open Play" in the coming months, this time it will be at Adler Hobbies in Manchester, NH. Will post up a separate thread on that when we have details.
  8. Please take a look at Page 26 of the mini rulebook. •After failing: These effects are resolved after Step 5, and only if the model with this Trigger fails the duel.
  9. @Inquisitor Wall for some reason the font color makes it impossible to read anything in this post.
  10. @Archis as a reminder please let the overall organizer know that there is a Malifaux Calendar of events at the top of this forum. This is to mitigate any conflicts. Matt P (@Zombie1701) knows this, but just wanted to make sure that the Unplugged GT overall organizers knows there are a lot of other events going on that may conflict so to keep an eye out.
  11. The Pandora box is quite good, I recommend just about every model in that box. Just worth buying it and using the baby kade.
  12. I know I'm not part of the UK scene but rather than do a score sheet for people. What if at the end of an event every player gets to choose one person they played against to earn a token/ticket (virtual or physical). This is recorded by the TO and at end of year the Rankings shows how many a person has earned. Don't use it to adjust scores or anything but at least it publicly promotes and acknowledges people who are consistently earning these. Sportsmanship shouldn't be boiled down to a set of criteria defined by a group or single person. Let a persons enjoyment during a game (something only he/she can define) be the deciding factor. Ill say that here in the Northeast of the US we've had success with this concept on an event by event basis. We do a raffle and everyone gets a single ticket to put in for an opponent they played during they day who they think was a great opponent. The concept mentioned above could be an extension of that which is simple and tallied over the year acknowledging those players who are cinsistently fun/stellar opponents. My Yankee .02 cents
  13. Awesome. I have an 8-player, 16-player, and 32-player kit on the way for upcoming events! This is so cool. Really excited to share this with the local players who've been chomping at the bit for stuff like this. What can attendees/players/placers use the Scrip for, are they something they can trade in at cons or something? I mean they're cool in their own right but I'm sure people will want to know if they have any other special value
  14. Well you could run it over two weeks? See if you can get ~8 people to commit to showing up 1 week, and do 2 rounds that week and 2 rounds the next week. Then at the end make sure people get the stuff from the new Tournament kits. I'm sure those guys would love that! They're a new group so anything organized for them is a big step as they don't have a dedicated Henchman at the store....well i guess they do now If you need any resources let me know.
  15. @turtleclub13 yeah I don't have FB. As I mentioned in the PM, it may be a good idea to split your time between the two stores. Give both player bases something fun to participate in. Also if you run a tournament out of The Complex, its more likely the MA and NH guys can come because its a lot closer for us.
  16. Doppleganger Nekima Barbaros Those are key to have available, rest are as others state, sprinkle in minions from the faction as necessary. Lilitu isn't a bad addition if you want to for a good Wp duel.
  17. Oh yes I most def. will. 3 Changelings with Collodi is pretty fun.
  18. This is exactly how I feel. I'm incredibly happy they look so similar. It's what I expected. Perfect and awesome. Can't wait to get my hands on them.
  19. Well these are amazing and going to be some of the most important additions to everyones NB crews. Looking great Aaron. Thx as always.
  20. Thanks for all that came out. Especially, one of my locals Blake (@Pryokon) who was key to the success. Without him I wouldn't have been able to help all the players. We had 14+ players, and people just kept playing. Lots of games were played and we even had @turtleclub13 come down and play some games. He may start running some events out of The Complex, which would be great. Met a lot of great people, and really excited to help grow the community more North.
  21. Added April 2nd event, but not sure when it starts. I'll update start time when you let me know. For now said 10am since thats when Table Top Games opens I think on Sat.
  22. Ah, yeah a typo here on the forum, I did put it in the calendar correctly. Fixed it. Thx. Yeah someone told me about it from FB so figured I'd get it added.
  23. Just added two events for March 5th and March 16th to the Calendar. March 5th is in Warwick, RI by @lorenlord and March 19th is in Hadley, MA by @Inquisitor Wall (more info here: http://www.the131.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=6517)
